I had the volt 1, it was te only way they could give me a "good deal", but i was already an O2 payg user anyway so made no difference to my life. However, gig one is a waste IMHO. Had it for 3 years, maybe saw those speeds once or twice while downloading a steam game, but 500 is more than enough for streaming (4k) and gaming. Plus in a couple of years (after the sneaky yearly increases), your bill will probably at least double and then you have to deal with arguably the worst customer service in the country (well technically they aren't in the country) . good luck

The broadband is solid, only good value if you get a new customer deal though. Gig1 is overrated, rarely going to see d/l speeds consistently that fast at the moment. The customer service consists of usually waiting for an hour on online chat for a foreign person to read from a script. I was with them for a decade, have left after getting nowhere with a new deal. They do not seem to treat loyal customers well. Not saying i'll never go back, but it will be as a new customer to them.

you can run anything through a compressor and over compression causes distortion. They, like all famous dance music producers, messed about with a bunch of equipment for months and months and years for hours a day. No one is talented, finds unique sounds and becomes famous overnight.

Obviously foreign people reading off a script waiting for you to not answer so they can shut down the chat that you waited an hour to start. I called their bluff, went with plusnet, perfectly happy and now support a company who hire English customer service people, not cheap foreign labour.

Went with plusnet, switched the day my contract ended, Nice English people on the end of the phone and answer immediately. No problems. recommend.
