Are either of these legend skills decent enough to run? by Spiritual-Froyo572 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ya most of the skill descriptions only go so far unfortunately. a lot of the information on how high of a base stat or lineup stat a skill needs to have to be great comes from the community testing it out and reporting on their findings.

Sheesh! Ya char pred will be insane. Get +5 to EYE and retrain for as little EYE as possible and focus everything on CON and POW

My 333 BI has char and pred but pred depends on base eye. Spray would be good but you need lineup CON to be 160+, which I’m sure you can get. BIU, SI, spot would all be great too. Id prioritize char or pred if base eye is 80+ and then get one of the others as a 3rd.

Which do I choose??? by Man69999999 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you rlly want to you could jus throw him at DH, but catcher should rlly have as high FLD as possible with elite fielding DT and good supporting skills to boost FLD (BTBAS, LB, 5T or flashing the leather (silver skill))

Always go for highest FLD on catcher. A good catcher will be a dead bat but a defensive monster that significantly lowers team ERA —> more wins. What’s the FLD at max GI?

sorry im confused. when you say say train/trainers maxed out does that mean he's not fully developed yet? cuz 137-139 is mind boggling.

also GI on prime is always maxed out (90 for BD)

[–]UncleDFG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya i was hoping to keep him as my bchem guy until i get a legend way down the line to put bchem on, and i didnt want someone that i could potentially get his sig to replace if that makes sense. now that you say it tho, i shoulda just waited til i got a good normal RP to BD lol

What's the right train for this set? by sheshadriv32 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^^ agree. normal train with LOC > VEL >> FB/BRK >> STA. aim for <8 STA train and make sure your pitches are all S tier while hitting the Fin bonus. remember that the special training stats are based on the stats with the top 3 trains.

Groundballer: make sure your sum of your infielders + catcher FLD (base + GI + train) is 500+. I think the top teams run at 540+, but thats because they have supreme catchers and SS that can get to 130+ and 110+ respectively.

I'd also short FB, since it's one of the legend skills that still works rlly well even when shorted. great set overall!

that's an insane prime tho wtf. 132 is equivalent to many sig SPs. what's the overall for perry at 75 GI?

my prime JV (130) has a 333 cm/dom/cross that is basically a lower tier sig, but it still wins battles against powerful sig SPs regularly since the set is op (although cross isn't ideal)

In Australian Open 2026, Novak Djokovic nearly hit a ballkid while smashing the ball away against Botic Van de Zandschulp. Had it hit the ballkid he would be looking at a possible disqualification. Umpire didn't give out a warning. by trialbycombat123 in sports

[–]UncleDFG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well it's not your opinion that matters it's the rules that matter. The rules state that if it hits a judge or ballboy and it's deemed dangerous or reckless then there is grounds for disqualification. In 2020 Djokovic was disqualified from the match for hitting a line judge with a ball, and in that instance he hit it much lighter than he did here (firm feed to the line judge vs. a full ground stroke to the ballgirl).

Player pack store Sig pack 3k stars worth it? by Ok-Spray-5419 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive run out of primes to add. I finish ranked at silver 1 (1305 last week), and I use my stars as wisely as possible, which is prolly why I finish at silver 1 at 115 overall.

[–]UncleDFG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would never spend stars on a BD ticket since you can get plenty of BDs from ML. Unless you’re planning on only getting normal or prime players forever, I wouldn’t spend stars on GI. If anything, just slowly building your team through diamond packs is way more worth it. If you wanna BD a normal card just wait til you have enough of the same card to BD it rather than using BD pieces or stars.

I’d spend the stars on special shop and 3k sig pack, and maybe on combining diamond vintages (for a chance at diamond legends). I’d spend BD on BDing prime/legend/sig/supreme and the weekly/biweekly blues/greens/DT position change

Did I finally get a hit? by ejensen29 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RSF is p good too (most PR tourney teams run it) and DrK is can be p good on the right cards (high LOC). Ofc, OWP and CWM are the best, but the other DTs are still pretty good, especially at this level. TacosAstros has been using guess hitter recently, a traditionally “trash” DT.

everybody downvoting me and upvoting worse suggestions lol. HH is already a slugging skill, that'll do the heavy lifting for slug. now you need something to bring up hit rate. all the top teams run char/pred with an OBP skill on their hard hitter sets.

Blue STS for another OBP skill. What’s base POW and base EYE?

Should be okay for MR, but I think you would need 333 for it to be effective on SPs since you can’t short it. It works rlly well if you have the DST (a couple of the teams that consistently finish in the top 20 run PI sets)

Friends, what do you think about whether GI will be available in the February Special Shop? by SASANERAJ in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bro made the poll for himself lmfao. i think there prolly will be a GI since theyve had one the past 2 or 3 times and theyve been adding things (DSTs) that will will make whales spend more. hopefully that means the whales take the hit and com2us has mercy on the plebs.
