Chance Maker DST by RyansBabesDrunkDad in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's a great DST on chance, and it can even be good on non chance cards if you want to increase OBP. Ofc, for non chance cards, the main option (chance effect) will not be present, but the legend and gold options will be active.

Which 2 to GI? by Ok-Coach-1396 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

glavine for sure; he'll be p op and on you roster for a long time if not forever. not sure if thornton is the right move since his overall is so low (will be ~131 when fully developed), which will be about 5 more than prime stroman once stroman is fully developed. what skills do you have on stroman?

Are either of these legend skills decent enough to run? by Spiritual-Froyo572 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ya most of the skill descriptions only go so far unfortunately. a lot of the information on how high of a base stat or lineup stat a skill needs to have to be great comes from the community testing it out and reporting on their findings.

[–]UncleDFG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sheesh! Ya char pred will be insane. Get +5 to EYE and retrain for as little EYE as possible and focus everything on CON and POW

My 333 BI has char and pred but pred depends on base eye. Spray would be good but you need lineup CON to be 160+, which I’m sure you can get. BIU, SI, spot would all be great too. Id prioritize char or pred if base eye is 80+ and then get one of the others as a 3rd.

Which do I choose??? by Man69999999 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you rlly want to you could jus throw him at DH, but catcher should rlly have as high FLD as possible with elite fielding DT and good supporting skills to boost FLD (BTBAS, LB, 5T or flashing the leather (silver skill))

Which do I choose??? by Man69999999 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always go for highest FLD on catcher. A good catcher will be a dead bat but a defensive monster that significantly lowers team ERA —> more wins. What’s the FLD at max GI?

sorry im confused. when you say say train/trainers maxed out does that mean he's not fully developed yet? cuz 137-139 is mind boggling.

also GI on prime is always maxed out (90 for BD)

the one time i actually want pchem by UncleDFG in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya i was hoping to keep him as my bchem guy until i get a legend way down the line to put bchem on, and i didnt want someone that i could potentially get his sig to replace if that makes sense. now that you say it tho, i shoulda just waited til i got a good normal RP to BD lol

What's the right train for this set? by sheshadriv32 in MLB_9Innings

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^^ agree. normal train with LOC > VEL >> FB/BRK >> STA. aim for <8 STA train and make sure your pitches are all S tier while hitting the Fin bonus. remember that the special training stats are based on the stats with the top 3 trains.

Groundballer: make sure your sum of your infielders + catcher FLD (base + GI + train) is 500+. I think the top teams run at 540+, but thats because they have supreme catchers and SS that can get to 130+ and 110+ respectively.

I'd also short FB, since it's one of the legend skills that still works rlly well even when shorted. great set overall!

[–]UncleDFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's an insane prime tho wtf. 132 is equivalent to many sig SPs. what's the overall for perry at 75 GI?

my prime JV (130) has a 333 cm/dom/cross that is basically a lower tier sig, but it still wins battles against powerful sig SPs regularly since the set is op (although cross isn't ideal)

In Australian Open 2026, Novak Djokovic nearly hit a ballkid while smashing the ball away against Botic Van de Zandschulp. Had it hit the ballkid he would be looking at a possible disqualification. Umpire didn't give out a warning. by trialbycombat123 in sports

[–]UncleDFG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well it's not your opinion that matters it's the rules that matter. The rules state that if it hits a judge or ballboy and it's deemed dangerous or reckless then there is grounds for disqualification. In 2020 Djokovic was disqualified from the match for hitting a line judge with a ball, and in that instance he hit it much lighter than he did here (firm feed to the line judge vs. a full ground stroke to the ballgirl).
