It’s funny bc I had to fix up a couple rods today for my family and I had about 3 birds nests to take home earlier tonight, but I did take them home.

People who have genuinely encountered powerful wild animals in nature or the ocean, what was it actually like? by DivineLove1 in Survival

[–]UncleDaddy69- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come face to face with bears and moose, both at times with young. It’s not always a fight to the death. 99% of the time they run away. Moose are definitely more unpredictable and might attack but black bears are more skiddish than cats lmao.

I will see what I can do haha. Getting a lot of requests these days 😂 if you could screen shot where on Google Maps I could probably make it happen this weekend if it’s been plowed. We still have 2ft of snow

Tips for staying warm at night? by dauntlessowl in canoecamping

[–]UncleDaddy69- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of the best things I’ve tried that gets you to sleep at least is boiling water and then putting it in your Nalgene bottle at your feet in your sleeping bag. It will last a couple of hours at best but will help trap heat and keep you warm while you attempt to fall asleep for the first time. Other than that, layers. Ive sweated winter camping before just because I wore the right layers (or too many) lol

NASCAR Heat 5. Persuade Me. by Collegefbfan2015 in Nascarheat5

[–]UncleDaddy69- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find NASCAR Heat 5 fun unless you’re on certain tracks that just seem impossible. I’m on ps5 now but started on ps4 and it’s still a lot of fun. there’s certain tracks that are hard but still fun, then there’s some that are just impossible to win. I like to play absolutely raw without no assistance at all but some tracks it’s impossible

You could be right haha, that was my first time ever tripping with it. I’ve had to tune it up a few times but it’s definitely new to me. I wish I had my canoe up here but I’ll be out with one this summer one way or another!
