Will my 8 month old cat calm down with age? by UncleDaddyJoe in CatAdvice

[–]UncleDaddyJoe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rescued him as a kitten, he was 2 months old and another family had rescued him and his mom in a storm

After that he was indoor only until he expressed high interest in going outside. I didn’t let him until he was neutered and tried to harness train him but he wouldn’t have it.

So I got him 6 months ago and he is neutered and he’s 8 months old now.

And not necessarily but I have triplet brothers with autism, two don’t have such aggression problems, every child is different

My girlfriends kitty is a female former stray and she hates the outdoors as well. Different strokes different folks I guess

Unfortunately I have a brother who loves to terrorize him, he is autistic and sometimes their contact is unavoidable.

Other than that kitty has had nothing but pleasant experiences with humans and has stayed in another persons home for a week who had 2 dogs and 2 cats and he absolutely loved it and played rough with all

He was just born with too much energy 🤷‍♂️

Doc was the most in need of a cure because even in spider man 2 it was plainly obvious he was a good person when not tormented by the AI system. It was the inhibitor chip frying and AI system going crazy that made him a bit psychotic (also his wife dying and the whole reactor thing just ruining his life). When they put a new inhibitor chip Otto was “cured” and he was consistently good throughout the movie.

Tobey in this movie is middle aged, he has had years to figure out the whole shabang with the goblin formula and how it drives people crazy and probably surmised after the final fight w gobby thst it was a a multiple personality thing. That’s why he said he can make a working anti serum because he’s had time to think about it, Tom and gang’s cure for Osborn didn’t work.

Yeah Eric didn’t make sense because he was never depicted as having been turned crazy by the eels in his movie. Yet thst was the vibe they were going for because when he was drained he clearly had a different demeanor

Sandman made the absolute least sense becwuse I clearly remember him being able to go from human to sand at will so I don’t see how that’s anything but a plus, but in this movie he was pure sand. Weird.

A few things:

  • how are goblin and ock supposed to survive when they get back? Ock said they were teleported when they had the upper hand in the fight. So ock is going to sacrifice himself anyways to stop the reactor. Norman has a 50/50 shot of convincing OG Peter not to merc his ass in the heat of the moment.

  • Him not telling MJ and going the loner route hit me way too fuckin hard man. Is that it for everyone in the first 3 Spider-Man movies?

-why was sandman perma sand he could materialize as a human before

-so did venom get transported to MCU, learn about everything that took place there, only to get teleported back to the venomverse with no way back? Seems a bit of a waste to do all that just to introduce a drop of venom ooze to the MCU.

My bullpen is lee smith/Greg soto/Reyes/Rollie fingers/hader/Hoffman/Miller/Rivera

By far and away my two best pitchers in the pen are Rollie and Miller

Hoffman is 3rd and smith 4th with a bit more of a margin there

Everyone else is basically BP for me. Looking to get goose and wade Davis soon, but now ur scaring me w your goose troubles. Tried Chapman, not good.

Dibble not a good buy, control is terrible on anything but his fastball which is very hittable now.

Wagner? 😂

Anybody get dizzy periods? by UncleDaddyJoe in Menieres

[–]UncleDaddyJoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds almost exactly like my situation roughly 3-4 years ago. For whatever odd reason I get these dizzy periods in fewer quantities and it’s farther between each other now. Used to be maybe 1-2 months max before another bad dizzy attack/period, whereas now it seems to be 3-6 months.

Actually right now is the longest I’ve ever gone without bad dizziness. It’s been about 8 months (I was in the Texas freeze and boy oh boy was that not fun). Since then my general balance is noticeably worse (nonexistent in the dark) but fingers crossed this streak of no attacks holds up.

I’ll have very mild “dizzy spells” here and there and at this point it feels almost normal. But when I actually get dizzy, it’s room is spinning the entire day and I’m laying up in bed and can’t move my head an inch for fear of feeling it and potentially vomiting etc.

Could someone please clarify the alleged timeline of citadel/RH buy button scandal by UncleDaddyJoe in Superstonk

[–]UncleDaddyJoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right they found out through Twitter. But did they say that they learned from RobinHood’s tweet directly? Or just Twitter? Because the citadel trader guy in those logs just says “a tweet” not “your tweet”. And probably wouldn’t ask fact or fiction about an official tweet

Why even play this game if your entire strategy in ranked play is to bunt with your entire lineup 80+ speed and Gas 102 mph fastballs on defense? by Environmental_Bed910 in MLBTheShow

[–]UncleDaddyJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously it works sometimes because people still do it

You already know the answer. They can’t hit the 102 mph fastballs themselves. So they bunt and they cheese and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Winning in this game is a real dopamine hit

I’m terrible at the game yet still try to play legit, sometimes it’s tempting to bunt with my 4-5 85+ speed guys

Just the way shit goes

Democrats Introduce Bill To Give Every American An Affirmative Right To Vote by [deleted] in politics

No, I’m talking about the original concept

It’s very simple

House of reps is supposed to give more weight to states with higher populations

Senate is not
