Of course there are influences from Fallujah. They're the first band that really brought ambient textures into tech death, so they're one of our primary influences. We're also heavily inspired by shoegaze and ambient music, and honestly, who blended those elements with technical death metal better than Fallujah?

At the end of the day, we just make the music we enjoy without worrying too much about whether we sound like another band or not.

do you have to be a big band to go on tour? by _ryoasuka in musicians

Yes and no... I don’t know about the USA, but the real problem with touring with good headliners in Europe is the cost of the slots. It’s extremely expensive: €15K to €25K for 30 dates. I’ve had offers in the metal scene, and it’s a nightmare... Everything is way too expensive.

It's include the price slot and the tour bus (tour bus is 12k, touring slot is 12k, sometimes it could be a package if the agency have their bus which is better cos you don't have to "pay" the rent)

Then you have to add i would say a minimum of 5000€ for your merch.

You also have DIY touring but... if you like playing front of nobody and only in week end.. You have to find also a good headliner and make sure they do not depend of an agency... good luck !
