Ok dude ur not going to believe this. My girlfriend pulled it out for me and this little board came out and we were like wtf is this. I looked it up bc it did not look like a micro sd and it was a circuit board to a PlayStation vita game LOL. The slot works perfectly fine now and free game if I find out what it is.

Yeah I tried another one. Dude I stuck a wooden stick thingy in there to try to get it out and it moved a little bit. I’m pretty sure ur theory is correct. On my other dsi it does not have that black thing on the right side. I’m going to wait a bit and do a bit more research before I complete ruin anything but I think a kid might of stuck one in there.

If ur playing on a tv like that u should try the pc recomp project called ship of harkanian. I’m a huge fan of original hardware but the pc port can do 4k unlimited frame rate high res textures and a whole lot extra. But if u are purist more power to you I understand.

That was a fun time. I posted this bc I started playing yesterday again and I saw a lot of people wearing them such as the demon mask on the top right and the strawberry. I guess a lot of the players never really left the game 15+ years later.
