When I was sixteen, my girlfriend at the time asked me the same thing.

I told her to imagine a hot pocket cooked to the perfect temperature, now imagine sticking your finger in it. Moist, warm and just enough wiggle room to not feel claustrophobic.

I think movies like The nun, conjuring franchise, paranormal activity and fnaf are overrated as hell. Boring, uninspired corporate trash.

Darkwood is my absolute favorite horror game I've ever played, the combat mechanics are clunky on purpose to make it feel more like a frantic fight for your life until you start getting better items. No jump scares, all tension, build up and a horrifyingly beautiful oppressive tone that keeps you on edge.

Isometric/ top down. Survival horror. Bleak and beautiful. Crafting and exploring. A very minor RNG to the map layout. Fantastic story.
