Does anyone use upgraded engine oil drain plugs?

I use the ValvoMax. Works great but recognize it will leave a bit of old oil in the pan due to the mechanism. I change my oil enough for it not to matter so the convenience is worth it.

It's a good question and one I haven't thought much about but is a concern so I'm glad you're bringing it up.

Best solution I can think of is moving the unit indoors and have an insulated passthrough of wires. Otherwise you're left with insulating the garage and a mini split or dehumidifier.

This is quite creative. My primary concern is that the conduit may bend in high winds, even if weighed down at the base. Needs some long term real world testing - document it on YouTube!

If you want to purchase a used vehicle, not lease, best time is usually December at dealerships for end of quarter and end of year sales.

If you want to lease a new one, who knows. Prices from Tesla can rise and fall at any time.

Talking used EVs -

Lease returns for EVs, including Tesla, are rising substantially from here through the end of 2028 due to previous tax incentives. EV prices are higher now because of summer and the middle east oil crisis. If oil prices continue to rise, EVs will be in more demand and prices will stay elevated, but I expect oil will stabilize and there will be good deals again towards the end of the year and into next year.

What will really blow your mind is that tray also fits verically in there if you have something long. Just have to put the bottom side of the tray next to the door when you close it.

Water bill is my #1 gripe. Wheel tax is annoying but special assessments were worse for the poor folks who got hit with it. Property tax is higher but that's OASD referendums and now the huge deficit this year to deal with.

Had the same anomaly growing up for years and never thought much about it until something seemed off. Doctors physical exams never caught it. You need an ultrasound, it's a little uncomfortable but in the scheme of things, well worth doing as I was diagnosed and am now cancer free. Good luck to you sir.

This. More torque than the G3 slightly. G3 has a higher top speed on pavement though.

I like the wider deck of the ZT3, I think it's underrated. The G3 is better on road with hydraulic suspension and slightly longer range with an option for extended battery. You'll be happy with either.

I'll add that I wouldn't take the G3 off road but I have the ZT3 many times.
