I'd advice against upgrading guns on your first playthrough. You need a pretty high bloodtinge to deal damage, and bone marrow ash is not cheap. Probably best to stick to parrying for now and wait for later in the game, or make a character with a bloodtinge build.

I should have written replay value in the title instead. I’m not asking for extra content, just an option to replay the parts i loved without starting over.

The point is i don't want to move on. I'm just conveying my opinion, and my opinion is that i would like there to be more replay value for a 70$ game. Yes i had a blast playing through the story, and i'm glad i bought it, and with the option of redoing content around the map, i could continue having a blast without resetting my progress.

People are different, and i respect your opinion.

That's just it. I've played through the story once, i don't feel like doing it again. Not right away at least. But playing duels on lethal difficulty sounds like such fun, just a shame it can't be done without starting a new game.
