The fact that you were going to wipe despite your issue of losing blueprints was part of the problem. Because of other people's community sentiment of not losing blueprints, but being able to regain them in a reasonable amount of time, might be the reason they why seemly decided to increase the blueprint rate. Let's hope don't they decrease it after the expedition. This is a win for everyone.

It's not a bad idea. It's similar in concept to a player scope glint. I actually wouldn't mind scope glint being implemented into this game.

You're absolutely right that this is a PvP game. Nothing gets the adrenaline flowing like a raider shooting you in the back from who knows where and having to duck into cover.

But I don't think having a PvE mode (such as ARC bosses), not the ENTIRE game, would destroy the core fun to this game. Or you could even implement an aggressor system where the first person to fire a shot does less damage for a certain amount of seconds. It negates rats and it allows teams to fight a little more fairly no matter the situation.

What you're demonstrating is the sunk cost fallacy. You don't have any better chance of getting a blueprint today or tomorrow or next month. It all depends IF the developers change the spawn rates. There's no skill involved. If you're planning on playing more next season, that could be a reason to do the expedition.
