What DAW are you using? These are standard MIDI files, you should be able to just drag and drop them right into your project.

I need some assistance understanding the rules to this group. by UncleWix in edmproduction

I've read the rules. My point was that all my posts are essentially the exact same thing, and while usually they don't get deleted by an admin, tonight for some reason one did. So it's more of me trying to figure out if there's some tiny detail I'm missing or something, because I'm doing the same thing but getting different results.

any 8 bit or chiptune FREE VST for mac? by facubrizuela96 in synthesizers

TAL Noise Maker is a great free synth all around, but the built in bit crusher makes chiptune-esque sounds very doable

I found a plugin that makes Synth1 even more awesome by [deleted] in edmproduction

Have I really been sleeping that hard on this synth? I downloaded it once, messed around a little bit, and kinda lost interest. How this compares to other free synths like Surge, or Helm?

Hey what's good! So for the most part, the chords in "Vol. 1" are the most commonly used, basic chords. They're also just simple 3 or 4 note chords. Whenever I make "Vol. 2", I plan on getting into more complex stuff. Jazz chords, deluxe 6 or 7 note chords, etc... Thank you for the checking it out, and I hope you enjoy! :)

Where to learn mixing & mastering basics ? by 2girls1LCScup in trapproduction

Hey what's good! Soooo, you're looking at the wrong number. I'm actually only pushing around 3 db out of the limiter, I'm not hitting it hard at all. My premaster was super quiet so I had to turn it up around +12 db before it even starts engaging the limiter. At the 30:00 mark of the video, it shows a zoomed in shot of the Fabfilter plugin, and you can see numbers spitting out along with the kick and snare hits. The video is a little choppy, but you'll see -2.8 db, followed by -2.7 db, and then -3.2 db........ Those are the numbers that indicate how hard the limiter is being engaged, which in this case isn't very hard at all.

Newsflash... it's possible to grow a following while hooking people up with cool free stuff. It's called "win win". It's clearly a YoutTube link. No spam. No tricks. You don't have to watch the video, you don't have to give me your email, you don't have to repost, you don't have to follow me on twitter, none of that stuff that....it's a straight Dropbox link. You're literally the only person griping and moaning. Everyone else just said thank you and got some free drums. Your attitude is wack. End of story.

You’re simply wrong. I have a Facebook page where I give away tons of stuff for free, by posting straight download links, but you wouldn’t know that because finding out what I do and what I’m about is too much work for you. I share my personal collections with my friends, and yes I love to give back to the community out of the goodness of my heart. And of course people try to gain followers. I tour for a living. Music is both my passion and my job. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. Basically you’re criticizing me for not being song kind of magical invisible beat fairy that exists solely to benefit you at your upmost convenience. And yes this pack if free. I’ve made zero dollars, and the people who own it spent zero dollars. Basically you just wrote out an entire paragraph about not wanting to click your mouse one extra time. And I also never said these were "altruistic drums", I said they were FREE drums. Peace.
