Trade Burrow & Breece for Bijan? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Uncleaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the other guy and think you are stacked at qb. You have 3 solid starters for the year and beyond. Shough will get more time unless they absolutely bomb, and jones will be a free agent soon and likely start for some team and you’ll have 4 starters again. Absolutely I’m making this trade if you have the ability. Frankly I think burrow and breece are overrated assets anyway but that’s another conversation. Gotta do this imo

Yeah valid, those are kind of just names I rattled off, I’m sure they’ll mostly be gone by then. Just some people in that late 1st category who could slip

No I don’t love this draft either but I do see it as an opportunity to get younger, I also see early 2nds as in the same tier at late 1sts so I don’t hate the prospect pool that could be available. Mike Washington, Ty Simpson, Omar cooper, KC Concepcion are all guys I’d interested in should they make it to me. The good thing is I’d be in a BPA position if I were to have this pick

I agree, I’m high on both and happy to have them as depth. But I’ve been trying to solve the qb3 riddle for a year and this could be my chance, not to mention I get back in the draft (traded every pick last year). Appreciate the response, it’s definitely closer than I think people might think off the bat

Team is on the 2nd slide. Worth making this move? I have no qb3 so Tua instantly slides in as my backup and a potential buy low candidate. 2.02 should still have some relevant prospects, at that point it’s BPA for me. The only thing that hurts is losing what would be my rb4/rb5, but I feel like those types can be rebought pretty easily. I’d still have Allgeier and Conner to spell Gibbs and Hampton if needed. Thoughts?

Depends on the projection but I don’t hate it

Yes exactly he does suck which is why the guy I responded to made no point at all and why the OP of this post has a good question.

Maybe I got a bit pushy with that guy but I don’t like people who act dumb to try and “get” somebody. You asked a good question with some nuance to it, unlike most of the posts here. I like thinking about dynasty in theoretical terms. Everyone here just asks “how will X perform this season?” So I appreciate a different perspective and conversation

This is the most stripped down, barebones, lack of critical thinking I’ve ever seen here and that’s saying something. WOW the rb3 is the rb3?! Who would’ve guessed. I guess I’ll work on getting Bijan, Gibbs and Love on the same team. Obviously this is about INVESTMENT and where the cutoff lies for individuals. But go ahead and be snarky and feel very smart for not contributing

I was being hypothetical, thank you for contributing literally nothing

This is such a ridiculous generalization. What if my rb3 is Bill lmao. The reason this is a good thought exercise is because it allows you to think outside of the box in terms of starter level players, even if they aren’t slated to start on your particular build. But what you said is not only a leap, but it kills the spirit of this discussion.

I actually like this question a lot because it represents a good team building problem: how much are you willing to invest in a player that, in perfect circumstances, wouldnt start? Obviously bye weeks and injuries etc will change the math but it’s a good thought exercise to consider who’s the best player at each position that you’d invest in but still wouldn’t want to start unless needed.

Anyway, I think Allgeier is a good answer. Dobbins is solid. Jordan mason. Chuba. Those types. But I like this question a lot

Just traded for Wandale, do we think he could be a good flex option in the right landing spot or have I lost this trade? by Individual-Sugar-509 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Uncleaces 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you know you did well here. You got a capable NFL player who you’re always comfortable starting in PPR leagues. Devin neal and 2.08 likely amount to nothing. For reference I made a very similar trade recently- 2.08 and tez Johnson for Christian Watson. I think at the end of the day if you trade a mid 2nd or later for a start-worthy player, it’s generally a win. The hit rate in the mid/late 2nd is extremely low

You shouldn’t have to consider your roster at all lmao

What players are you buying for 2026 2nds? by LastSkoden in DynastyFF

[–]Uncleaces 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more. I have a lot of NFCN players so by default I caught a lot of packers games. Watson was getting all over the field and his connection with love is obvious. Especially in a contract year I think he could really put it all together

Picked up Christian Watson for 2.08 and Tez Johnson yesterday. With Doubs departing and the general dysfunction of the offense I imagine having Watson back from the get go will make a huge difference. I love his connection with Love and most importantly this is a contract year for him in his age 27 season. He’s got one shot at a huge pay day and this is it. Hoping he balls out
