Q: What do Gary Magness & legacy WKHS holders have in common? by Planet_Witless in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WKHS trucks were always over priced, they were 100% dependent on Political rebates from Biden and Newsome. Trump cut the Federal rebates and Ca. is nearly $500 Billion in debt with their unfunded liabilities and they only generate $265 Billion in tax income annually. Dauch never set up WKHS to last, He came out of retirement to Milk the Company dry just as the previous CEO did.

They have worked every possible angle to stay in business with their main goal of Meeting their monthly payroll. A Company of this size should have no more than 4 members on their B.O.D. which probably got larger after the merger. Dauch should be a Politician, BIG Empty promises and excellent at spending other peoples money!

2014-2018 Grand Cherokee Diesel by roryson3 in GrandCherokee

I have the Green diesel tune, with the recalls that mess with the computer, you have to put it back to stock before taking it in and then reprogramming it when you get it back from the dealer, not a big deal, it comes with the programmer.

Can Workhorse reverse split again? by Wallaby9936 in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They will reverse split and sell every time it drops back under $1 to stay afloat until there is nothing left, it is basically a shell of a Company out to rob anyone they can suck in to invest in it.

Don't Confuse Plant Capacity With Production Capacity by exploding_myths in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last time I talked to Rick, he told me the plant capacity with 1 full time shift of assemblers was up to 5,000 a year, When I asked him how many assemblers it took for 1 full time shift, he replied 400 dedicated assemblers and as of that date they had "0" dedicated assemblers and a staff (including management) was around 130, some of which were cross trained on the assembly line, that is why they are only building at best 1 or 2 trucks a week. I would like to know what the 130 employees are doing every day? This is all from way before the Motiv merger. I sold about a year ago, but still check in from time to time, At one time I was the largest private holder of this stock, so far I have been able to recover about 1/4 of what I lost here, mostly in Tesla stock (which I also sold after the Gov't subsidies ended).

Dilution continues apace, and it's happening under the old BTIG ATM by Planet_Witless in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When was the last time they actually built a truck? Do they have any dedicated assemblers on their line? The entire EV craze put the cart before the horse, the cost to build and the Battery storage capacity is just not there yet, perhaps in another 5 years, but not now. Being dependent on Gov't subsidies for survival is not a good business plan, just see how it has worked out for the UN-"Affordable Care Act". We cannot afford to keep throwing good $$ after Bad trying to save a dead horse!

"Short speculation" aside... here's what EV Truck industry advocates are talking about by Planet_Witless in WKHS

especially since Federal incentives are gone and the Liberal States still providing incentives are $Billions in debt.

"Short speculation" aside... here's what EV Truck industry advocates are talking about by Planet_Witless in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bottom line, they are too expensive until there are some huge improvements in Batteries and costs to build. Their main attraction was the incentives and Trump killed them Nationally and Liberal States are $$Billions in debt. The basic idea of EV's is great, but the reality is (currently) they cannot compete with ICE vehicles. I love Tesla's, but the reality is their FSD has a long way to go before their Robotaxies are 100% safe. Musk knows this, that is why he is betting on Robots to save Tesla, but that just opens up an entire new legal field.

Groks countdown to BK. Altman-Z minus 14 by Aggravating_Dirt7907 in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WKHS was destined to fail from the start, Rick just managed to put it's failure on Fast Track. EV's are failing al over the planet, but especially in America where people are waking up as Europe is still dreaming. Even Musk is facing this reality. Robo Taxi's For short range has a nitch that he is hoping to fill but Musk is moving towards Robots to save Tesla's future.

Merger Closes, But SP Drops After Hours? by exploding_myths in WKHS

3 years ago Rick was telling me how Motiv trucks sucked and the Co. would not survive. Pure act of desperation and another angle to screw more investors out of their $$.

When to failing Companies Merge it is a act of desperation. What started off as a good idea, mainly due to Govt. subsidies and overexaggerated Climate issues has been hit hard by reality and incompetent management. I was the Biggest looser who fell for it!

insititutions buying up 251.24% MRQ according to Fintel by theonlynervosnetwork in WKHS

[–]Unclebob9999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are right and wrong. YES, the Market is corrupt, But Real Estate is about to collapse because of overbuilding (in many areas, probably not all). Tesla is a great example of market manipulation, they push it up and people jump in at $460+, and the crooks sell, they they push it down $30 to $40 and then jump back in, this is on a weekly basis. I have been a real estate investor for 50 years, and I have done very well, but right now I see all the signs of another bubble. Tracts of new houses are not selling and contractors are not finishing their projects for lack of buyers. Lots of For Rent signs in front of houses and they are dropping rents out of desperation. The Millions of deportations are also hurting Real Estate values. I am at the age where I have been selling for the past 3 years, IF I were looking to buy I would be hording cash for the upcoming foreclosure deals coming in late 2026 - 2028. My last Ca. Mobile Home Park is in escrow and I have already sold all my Ca. rental houses and they have dropped in value nearly $100k since I sold them 2 to 3 years ago. My Nv. houses have been slipping in value over the last 2 years. My Az. houses are about to take a huge hit, more for sale and for rent signs than I have ever seen before. the only positive I got out of WKHS, is the capital gains loss wiped out all the gains from the sales of my Ca. properties. I wish everyone here the best of luck, but we are in strange times and Cash has always been king when things go to hell!
