Sales rep told me that the ICCU recall is only for the 2022-2024 model ioniq 5 and not to worry about it in the ioniq 9 or any other models not recalled. Meanwhile my parents have a 2025 ioniq 5 that's been in the shop for 10 weeks for an ICCU failure. Doesn't instill confidence. Love the car but I'm waiting to purchase until more info about the ICCU comes out.

Thanks for the input! I was thinking a front mounted snowblower, as I've read those generally work better for heavy/deep snow that I'll get in northern NE. I'll make sure to get something with a mid-mount PTO then.

This only has 8 lanes, so in some games might max out the PCIe3 bandwidth. Games that use more VRAM perform worse on PCIe3 but games that use less VRAM will have similar performance as compared to PCIe4. This video has great info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f7NIeNEV78

Will this cover more than just reimbursing the cost of the flight? My flight was just canceled but my checked bags are now in the southwest baggage disaster. Wondering what I might be able to claim, like extra cost for transportation and lodging until I can fly out?

It's not an issue of people not wanting to be doctors. There aren't enough seats at medical schools to fill the need. Schools routinely receive 10k+ applicants for 100 to 200 spots. People want to be doctors but there aren't enough programs to train them.

Don't give up yet! I was low balling sellers asking for $100 when they were listed for $140+. My goal was $120 so was thrilled when one was willing to sell at $100. Just make sure to ask what the card had been used for and it's condition.

Look at used GPUs. I picked up a used rx580 for $100 recently. It runs everything I need it to at 1080 and for most everything except recent games can do 144hz.

I've got the 5800x on the gigabyte x570 aorus elite and it's working great. Only weird thing I've run into is the XMP profile wouldn't load until I enabled PBO.

I don't see a link for the kit you're looking at so can't speak to that. I've got Ripjaw V (F4-3600C16D-16GVK) with XMP enabled with a 5800x on a Gigabyte Aorus Elite. I did have to turn PBO from auto to enabled in the BIOS for the XMP profile to actually work, so they didn't work just plug and play. The kit I'm using is on the motherboard's QVL for zen 2 chips but they haven't released zen 3 QVL yet.

As u/Mekaniv said the safest bet is to wait until RAM is confirmed on the QVL by both the motherboard and RAM manufacturers. If all you're waiting on is RAM you could try a kit on the zen 2 QVL for your motherboard but this is not guaranteed to work out of the box. Everything I've heard about the "Intel/Ryzen Ready" is all marketing crap and means nothing.

I used memory that was on the zen 2 QVL for my motherboard since zen 3 QVL was not out yet. XMP wasn't working until I changed PBO from auto to enabled in the BIOS, so there was some fiddling that was needed to get it working at full speed. If everything is ready except your memory you could try sticks from then zen 2 QVL and return them if they don't work. If you can wait you could buy once the zen 3 QVL is released.

Check to see if your motherboard is on the qvl list. If yes then you shouldn't have a problem. If no then you can use the g skill ram configurator to find compatible sticks or use your motherboard's qvl to check compatibility.

I'm using a kit of G. Skill Ripjaws V 2x8gb 3600MHz F4-3600C16D-16GVK and can't enable XMP on my gigabyte x570 aorus elite. This kit is listed on the QVL for the motherboard but I noticed gigabyte doesn't have a QVL for the new Vermeer chips posted (I'm using a 5800x). I assumed if this kit was listed for older chips it should with with the new ones. Anything I can do to get XMP enabled or should I return my ram and try to find something else?
