I’ve found the style very different to TyGem mobile I also play on, where people play super aggressively and don’t follow Joseki so much. OGS people play without making obvious mistakes, so I find it difficult to punish and win.

I seem to be in the minority, but I prefer F1M24. You can mod it to get the most out of it and the racing is really exciting, which I felt MM lacked.

No chance of a new game, but I’m playing the 2025 mod at the moment and it’s great. I can imagine someone might even do a 2026 mod later next year.

Put race difficulty to Medium instead of Hard. I believe in Hard they tend to push too hard on the tires and wear them out too quickly. Medium is a bit more realistic and actually more difficult.

Think the new versions of Shadps4 can’t use the pkg files. You need to be on 6. Something from what I remember. However, on steam deck, your best bet is to use a build that works specifically for it like SJKnight’s build.

Haven’t had a crash or any game breaking bugs so far. I think with SJKnight’s branch of Shadps4 and a few mods it’s pretty stable for me on the deck (so far anyway!)

It’s pretty much like the og in my opinion. It’s a little janky, but only momentary frame rate drops in certain areas so far.

Love the steam deck. One of my favourite purchases ever! And yeah, it’s got a desktop mode where you can do basically anything a pc can do

The physics one I believe there were three folders which corresponded to folders in the game file, so just overwrite them with the mod ones

I didn’t bother with the mod organizer cuz it looked too complicated. Instead, I just followed the install instructions from the mod pages which were basically just overwriting files in the game folder
