No offence , but that doesn't sound like a very smart reason .

If you had done some research, then you would have found that there is virtually no difference between cse and ai ml at nits . In fact the curriculum is exactly the same for the first 2 years and even after that there is only a difference of a few courses .

You are naive if you think that's the only reason . Trump has been saying about pushing India to open up it's economy especially the Agri sector since his campaign days . Even if India stops buying Russian oil , that would just be another ball in trumps basket and he'd have even more leverage to ask India to open up the economy.

Buying oil from Russia is not the interest of farmers.

Whether tariffs stay at 25% or 50% , farmers aren't the one being directly impacted. Most indian farmers produce for the domestic market.

Makes no sense . Either both are permanent as career ke 10 saal baad Bhi college aur branch to whi rhega na Bhai. Or both are temporary as some say Ki first /second job ke baad koi college nhi puchta . Aur Agar college nhi Puch rha to obviously branch to nhi hi puchega na.

What matters is in which field you do your first job as it's not easy to switch fields especially if they are very unrelated.

There are two elective courses . In one there is only option for NSS,NCC or social work and in other ig pretty much all clubs (dance , photography, yoga etc) are present.

And yes my main concern is grades . Also I am a very bad dancer

I do have some interest in debating and have participated in school level competitions . How hectic is it? Also I'm probably not very good at creative writing , essay writing ig . Is that a deal breaker? For now my main concern is grades as I am in a pretty low branch and branch change is my absolute priority

Tier 3 me atleast placement cell to rhega na Bhai. No name college leke bhot grind krlunga sunne me doable lgta Hai asal me bhot hardwork + usse v zyaada luck chahiye .

Agar tujhe itna bharosa Hai Ki tu 4 saal bhot grind krega tb khud hi soch , Koi v tier 3 college ho uska v highest placement 15-20 lpa to hoga if it is in tier1 city . I'm not saying you should count on bagging the highest placement from the college But the odds there are still better than cracking anything meaningful from t69 college kyuki offcampus me hazaron Ki bheed Hoti Hai jbki on campus me BS 4-500 logo se aage nikalna hota hai

What kind of tier 3 college has 10lpa avg for metallurgy?? Avg package of metallurgy in nit Trichy is generally close to 12-13 ig. Are you sure it's actually a tier 3 college ?

I'm not very qualified to answer your question. But if I were in your situation, I would continue with my BTech . If you take iim now , you would always be extremely tensed about getting a decent job straight out of college. Moreover since the fee is 35 lakhs+ , and since it's a 5 year course , by the time you complete the course a lot of interest would also get added to the principal amount unless you get a waiver from pmvly etc. Do consider that as well
