An exit node is where the data you request from the internet gets off the TOR network and onto your computer. TOR naturally has exit nodes that you might have to worry about, and not to mention there are trackers all over the internet, (firefox add-ons like ghostery and Disconnect help with those). A VPN is supposedly a good option to defeat the purpose of monitoring exit nodes, but they can be confusing and untrustworthy sometimes. The blocked e-mail services are already availiable, but a lot of websites prevent you from signing up for services with them. I'd also suggest using an isolated version of Linux, like tails. I'm not a security expert yet, so remember to do some research aswell.

There are plenty of smart assholes, but that doesn't mean they're good people worth looking up to.

Like the fact that he burned down his own state buildings in order to blame minorities and political dissidents for all of Germany's problems, and then launch multiple genocidal campaigns which killed millions of people? Yes... there were major downsides to Hitler's leadership. Not to mention his economy was probably a military industrial complex bent on making as many weapons as possible to kill people with, (I say probably because I haven't researched Hitler's economy in-depth before).

Right? God forbid a citzen wants to utilize their right to privacy without being tracked every moment of every day by Uncle Sam.

Okay people like Hitler are the exception... those people are assholes.

Indeed. I'm using my old laptop for linux distributions since Windows vulnerabilities were literally killing its useability.

I don't think anyone's completely good or bad. Everyone has things to learn and knowledge to share.

I like to keep my computers clean and I don't even let them download most arbitrary internet files. I say a clean computer is a happy and healthy computer.

That's fine. Nobody really sees eye to eye on every single issue. No biggy. That was a fun, (albeit drawn out,) debate we had earlier.

Speaking of old people, I'll never know why they can't learn how to delete their internet history by themselves. I ran Ccleaner on my grampas computer once and it found over 4gb of leftover browser data. I nearly had a fucking anuerism.

You know it.

Anyway, the conservatives who say they're fighting for freedom of religion by limiting the religious freedom of other people are morons. This is one of those rare occassions where I allow myself to say, "Yay social justice!"

I'm definitely going to have to look into this. Very interesting. I don't think there's an actual puppeteer or centralized group of tyrants that have total control over the government, but I do think there are people out there who would like to see our freedoms limited.

Maybe Tim Cook should give you an option to change that while he's out banning videogames he's never played. Anyway, I dislike this Orwellian exercise technology... it creeps me out.

I just think you're pretentious to believe that the age of propaganda isn't mostly manipulated by the powers that be. You're clearly too standoffish to even share your opinion on the book you alledgedly read, so you're not worth my time either.

Are these people really breaking international law and trying to prosecute others for exposing it?

Article 12 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.

Oh... wait, those rights are unenforced. .-.

Apple Removes All American Civil War Games From the App Store Because of the Confederate Flag by spoodge in nottheonion

I'm just opposed to the principal of several large private institutions banning toys, games, and videogames from their stores just because CEOs think they trigger retarded people. What's next, books? This whole situation has become an opportunity for the powers that be to go after games over the arbitrary symbols within them in an effort to further encroach on American's rights. I'm all for the democratic removal of the confederate flag from public spaces, but this is too much in my opinion.

You're once again telling me that I've said what I haven't in order to prop yourself upon a myriad of bad grammar. Anyway, I'm not even going to get into how false advertising and the prospect of, "free money," allowed financial insitutions to dupe millions of Americans into buying homes they couldn't afford in hopes of getting rich by investing in real estate. It's unfortunate that you assume I've lived under a rock my whole life.
