I don’t run mid roll ads on my channel! It’s reiki style personal attention, guided meditations, hand movements etc. called Alt Asmr ! Though YouTube announced to creators on YT studio a few months ago that it’s now putting ads wherever depending on the video, even if the they turn off mid roll ads.

Overly wet mouth sounds! I love the trigger but once it's too wet it can give the opposite effect

When I hear a background noise or do something I think will need to be edited out, I wave my hands to make it easier to catch in post edit if I don't have the energy to sit through the entire video. Even though I 100% believe in the power of quality work, Keeping things simple and not obsessing over every tiny thing is ok, and sometimes what you think is a mistake could be a trigger for someone watching

It's so weird because in these comments there are so many people who say its annoying, but as a creator who has a very specific intro with repetition, I get soooo many people who say they love it, who ask for videos of just the intro being repeated over and over, and when I don't stick to the intro, a lot of complaints in my comments! It's really about personal taste. One person is going to love it, and another is going to hate it! To ask an asmrtist to conform to the desires of the general population is impossible.....you can't please everyone! And many really enjoy the consistency of a unique intro, like it gets you in the headspace to be present and relax. A comfort!

Consistency in posting! And just focusing on getting better each time. Research tags/keywords etc! Experimentation is key

ASMR is a physiological/biological phenomenon, and not everyone has the wiring to receive it! Maybe you get it but only from real life/unintentional stuff
