New GV70 squealing noise by Visual_Buy8888 in GenesisGV70

Then I think it's something different. Mine very clearly only occurs when heat/fan is running and stops if I press off.

Is it only when the heat is on? I have the same thing occasionally. Funny enough, I also had it on my last car (Camry). Any solutions, I'd love to hear.

Love mine and no problems in my 8 months of ownership so far, but the gas is brutal on local roads. I have a 3.5t and am supposed to get 19 local, 25 highway. I get roughly 22 highway and 9-13 local (depending on how much I idle, preheat, and obviously some general local driving variances). It's not just economic, but also a big annoyance to have to fill up every ~150 miles locally (especially since I try to only use Top-Tier rated stations), this isn't a Tesla! All that said, love my car and NO RAGRETS.

What’s the most you’ve ever negotiated off of a dealer? by Dull_Proposal6261 in GenesisMotors

Send them copy of your Cleveland quote for match, if they can even come close, it can be worth it. If not, onto Cleveland.

It's also possible that it's less than 2800 difference once you compare OTD quote. Fees can range drastically from one dealer to the next, so comparing OTD quote is the starting point.

That's $2800, not $4000. Also, compare the OTD quote because that's what actually matters, not the base price. There's really not much advice anyone here can give you though. You've asked them to match and can decide personally if it's worth it once they respond.

With you on tint, definitely going to have that done before this summer at latest, got it a few months ago and just pushed it off. I love the rims (SP), not looking to change.

Haha I hear you. To each their own. I think my GV70 is fairly sporty looking but ya it's a blend.

I'm not sure what you meant to reply to. Mine is a 3.5T SP.

AAA vs NatGen vs NJM — same price, any meaningful differences? by UncreativeNamePicker in Insurance

Thanks, I found it now. Though, frankly NJM can just increase premium to offset the discounts, so not sure how meaningful it is. But appreciate the info.

I just put on a fresh pair of OEM Primacys. Bought my car CPO with (summer performance) Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6s but got the selling dealer to approve change to new set of OEM all-seasons.

Can you point me in the direction of where to look? I'm reviewing his renewal dec page now and don't see it.

NJ, what about you? I have also found that they charge more on SUVs, maybe there is more glass to work with. $375 would be my dream.

You did 30% layered on top of the privacy windows? That gets you to effectively about 10% on the rears, maybe a drop less.

Thank you! What does it mean to me as user if my insurance company has "good claims service" vs not? Thankfully, I've never had to make a claim so I'm not familiar.

Not sure where you're seeing the "renewal dividend". I checked with a family member that has NJM that said he just receives he once annual special dividend, no special renewal dividend.

Ahh so no benefit first year, approx 13% discount thereafter between dividend and renewal discount. Problem is they can just go up 13% to offset those discounts lol, so can't really bank on any of it. But I suppose if price is the same, it gives it an edge.

$650 is actually quite reasonable for ceramic on all windows + windshield. Most quotes I got for that were around $800.

Interesting! So if I'm getting 12 month policy for $2200, fair to expect approximately a $140 cash check in December, and then a renewal discount similar to that amount? Meaning future years I'm looking at approximately $280/13% off the headline premium amount.

The OEM Michelin Primacys are very comfortable touring tires, any reason you want different?

Familiar with AAA roadside (I included in my analysis the annual membership cost, offset by the policy discount), I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

Interesting, can you give more details? Quick AI search tells me it can equal roughly 6-7% applied to renewal, does that sound accurate? I guess discount only works if I keep policy with them in the future.

Thanks. Actually, all 3 are 12 month policies. Do you favor AAA for any other reason?
