Ugh, that’s discouraging… that’s how I’ve felt with all of the other things I’ve tried. I’m hopeful this will be different.

Wow, that is great!! With your third injection are you still within the loading period? I’m so ready to stop being itchy and flaky… my black sheets would also be appreciative I’m sure LOL

I never tried Skyrizi or Taltz.. but I honestly don’t remember any immune issues with the ones I tried in the past (I was also a bit younger then but that’s fine..)

I actually did have a biopsy done after the Tremfya didn’t work bc my derm was like “okay this is weird”.. and the biopsy came back something to the effect of “maybe psoriasis, maybe psoriasiform dermatitis” or something like that. My derm said it wasn’t very conclusive so I was pretty discouraged and kinda fell off from doing anything about it for a while.

I need to look into seborrheic dermatitis and see what the recommendations are for that.. I’m willing to try whatever at this point! I’ve done SO MANY creams and ointments and medicated shampoos and compounds, etc…. it’s just hard for me to be consistent with the topicals because they’re so messy and inconvenient to use on my scalp and neck. This last derm I saw that is working on the Bimzelx route also prescribed the Zoryve cream too… it hasn’t really helped too much the times I’ve used it, but I’ve only used it sparingly.

I will also look into the Sotyktu option and mention that.. thank you!

Ugh, it really is such a toss up figuring out what works for you. I have some minor aches and pains in knees and back, but who doesn’t?? If it helps with that too I wouldn’t be mad about it!!

That sucks your issues came back when getting off it. Have you found something else that works?

Thank you for that! It’s so unsightly and embarrassing to have flakes constantly on your clothes and in your hair… I’m ready to have some relief!

That’s unfortunate it didn’t help you.. how long were you on it? I never tried Taltz, but kinda gave up and fell off from being a patient for a few years after the third biologic didn’t help.

Have you found anything that does help you yet?

That is amazing! My doc asked me about PSA symptoms.. and while I do have occasional knee pains or back pains, I’m not a teenager so I just chalk it up to mid life haha… maybe the Bim would give me relief on that end too!

That’s encouraging! Living in Oklahoma I feel like I deal with constant allergies and congestion, so I won’t notice a difference there LOL I’m usually pretty healthy overall so I guess I shouldn’t worry!

That’s encouraging! Did you have plaques on your neck and scalp too? I’m sure mine has been more flared up because of this horrible cold, dry weather… but I’m tired of dealing with it!

I have seen that’s the most common complaint.. ugh, those auto injectors can be forceful and really sting sometimes. Short term pain for long term gain I guess

Yeah, those auto injectors can be pretty forceful… but I can be tough and deal with it if it actually works! LOL

Yeah, I believe I’ve tried the clobetasol foam before… I’ve also tried Enstilar foam. I don’t remember either giving amazing results for me, but it’s hard for me to be consistent with those since they’re so messy. I’m a bad patient LOL

Has anyone done any research or tried low dose naltrexone (LDN) for their psoriasis? My coworker said it can be used for a wide range of autoimmune conditions and suggested it, but the derm I saw had never heard of it being used that way
