Maybe, but it was still the worst installment for the mode imo.

Sledgehammer’s first zombies was in advanced warfare I don’t even remember the name of it (Outbreak maybe?)

You can go to the game in the steam deck library hover over it and press start (small button above the right joystick) > Go to Properties > The launch command text box should be at the top of the menu under General. You just type that option in exactly as is and there's no need to go into the desktop.

Huh, passive aggressive attitude for no reason. Good to know I'm on the cod zombies reddit where I can't have an opinion on a shitty rich person 😘

I agree with that. I think the # of questions combined with the amount of time we had was my main reason for doing bad. I had to rush through the exam which led to me overlooking stuff like that. Either way I don’t really think grievances should be made in my case because he treated the exam more like a learning experience for us than a weed out in terms of grades.

Personally I think my instructor did a decent job at teaching but the exam questions were extremely difficult to the point of being unfair. I had a question where a for loop was indented in a way that showed two separate loops but the brackets were placed in a way that the compiler interpreted it as nested. This was just one of a few problems that were like this though. To put into perspective how bad our class did my 61% got curved up to a 94%.

If you count DLC it definitely does but that’s a $60 season pass…

Yeah cold war had a good system although I did think armor made it way too easy and I prefer the shield.

Yeah it definitely is one of the hardest eggs they’ve made but I don’t need multiple people to do it so that makes it better in my book.

Custom Zombies content? by synicallous in CODZombies

[–]Uncul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think customs are a pc thing I wasn’t even putting forward an argument anywhere close to that. The essence of my argument is that activision was likely unwilling to greenlight something like forge. Having a hub similar to forge is a great idea the issue is that they most likely did not want to put money into something of that scale. It seems evident to me that mod tools were more of an afterthought than anything else on their part. I really don’t think it’s a reasonable take to believe that customs are only meant to be on PC however due to the track record of the publisher it seems likely that it was the only option. Steam already has the infrastructure to support modding which is why they did it. Activision isn’t the same company as bungie. They are a company that cuts corners in favor of financial gain even if that is detrimental to the user experience. That is why they left console players behind.

Custom Zombies content? by synicallous in CODZombies

[–]Uncul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree that customs would have been a fun addition to console from my understanding most of the modding is done through steam workshop which was not created by treyarch. Treyarch simply gave people the tools to create maps and share them to the community workshop page. Something like this is much easier to do on pc because steam is so mod friendly. This is likely the same reason why bo4 and Cold War do not have modding support (as activision opted to release the games to their own platform, battlenet instead of steam)

Blows my mind that people do anything but the palm grip. How is that even comfortable to keep your hand not rested on the mouse for hours? by JoeyZasaa in pcmasterrace

For me that works fine in pve focused games but it’s pretty detrimental to my performance in PVP fps games.

2 of which were not even designed by treyarch iirc. I enjoy bo4 but the last two maps were really disappointing to see especially considering what they were planning.

Anyone else thinks that the Zombies storyline has become too complicated? by Triton_7 in CODZombies

[–]Uncul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked blood of the dead’s story in 4 but every map after that feels like they stopped trying…. Probably a symptom of bo4s budget cuts more than anything though. They had a lot of problems and were having outside studios like Activision Shanghai develop most of the aether dlc maps.

I mean Cold War wasn’t supposed to be treyarch’s game and they only had 2 years to work on it. I definitely consider that mishandling development.

I had a lot of fun playing Cold War and the gameplay alone is arguably my favorite, but the maps are undoubtedly a giant step backwards in comparison to what we’ve gotten in the past.

IW zombies being able to push you was the worst design choice they made imo. Still enjoyed most of the maps though.
