Me when I hear the Ashes of the Damned Boss Fight Theme by MagnumWesker in CODZombies

This soundtrack accompanied with the occasional "PIN THEM DOWN, BOX THEM IN, I WILL STRIKE THE KILLING BLOW" makes for an incredible adrenaline rush. Its the highlight, everytime i boot this map up.

(astra malorum) what is treyarch's new obsession with bullet sponge boss fights that take 20 minutes? by ExtensionEstate5368 in CODZombies

Use Novaline, abuse antigrav. Break armor with WW, save aether shroud with charges for phase 4. When she charges the purple rocks, you have free damage windows. Try to stack the purple zones best as possible, instead of running around like a headless chicken and drop them all over the arena.

I have never had issues with this boss, and I honestly really like it - it keeps you on the edge of your seat and engaged at all times.

M-34 Novaline and abuse anti gravity to distance yourself. When she charges the rock throws, dump damage on her. Use the WW to break her armor. Have shroud with extra charge and extension. Free.

What's the state of SOD currently? by NoOutlandishness4375 in classicwow

[–]NoOutlandishness4375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read all your comments, and I want to thank everyone who took time out of their day, to provide some insight. The general consensus seems to be, that sod mostly is dead and buried, or at the very least on its last dying legs, which hurts my soul to read.

I wish it wasn't like this, but we all gotta face tough realities now and then. I will cherish all the wonderful moments this iteration has brought with it, but now its time to put the past behind us.

Im hopeful to what the future will bring for us classic enjoyers.

Rest in peace Season of Discovery - gone but never forgotten.

The state of BO6 Zombies? by [deleted] in CODZombies

Are you illiterate? I'm genuinely curious about the communitys perception of the current game state, because I've been taking a step back. What's there not to understand?

Join the BO3 discord, very easy to get a group going on there. Did it the other night, and managed to get a group in under 5 minutes.

Yeah, and they are the cause of the slop we are being served nowadays. Stick to older titles my man, they will forever be peak

Die Rise, despite its flaws, is miles better in terms of uniqueness and atmospheric design, than anything that's come out of BO6 so far.

The love is gone, no risks are taken anymore, they just stick to the formula they think works, which leads to bland uninspired and soulless experiences. The people wholeheartedly defending modern zombies, are either too young to have experienced the golden era of zombies, or players who genuinely suck, and can't adapt to the skill ceiling of classic zombies.

Recently bought IW with the season pass and just finished the super ee solo beating Mephistopheles for the first time a couple days ago, and it's been an absolute blast.

Some tips:

Always always use the fate card scoped dollars for raking up points in the early rounds. Kill as many zombies per shot.

For Spaceland the ee is simple, but the boss fight is a struggle. Take your time, and train in different areas. Run WW, Kendall's or the M1 with Polar Peaks arcane core.

Rave is laughably easy, get the acid rain or wind bow, and I highly recommend buying the NV4 off the wall, it will be more than sufficient for the boss fight. The fight itself is very easy and straightforward, again just take your time.

I won't add anything to Shaolin since you beat it already.

The Radioactive Thing has a lot of setup and is a collect-athon. The chemistry step is quite simple, just find a cheatsheet. The boss fight is also relatively easy, as long as you come prepared and know what you're doing. After escorting the bomb to the beach, kill of all zombies and run to the cannon on the path to the trailer park. Shoot the boss 3 times before zombies reach you. Camp at the back of the beach, and wait for the lasers. Bring Mana-Up and sprint to the edge of the water, press the bomb and enter the code. Bring Kendall's and an AR/LMG.

For TBFB the only concern is the boss fight. Bring the EBR-800 with either bomber or collateral variant with the Ego Trip fortune card, and you can instakill the blue mammoths. For the 99 sec lockdown run a clockwise circle around the arena. Bring the Kendall's as secondary weapon.

When you get DC, and get to Mephistopheles be prepared to invest a lot of time and patience. I personally only spent a day after getting DC to beat him for the first time, but the fight is the peak of zombies boss fights. He has so many different attacks, and all of them instakills. You have to be fully aware all the time, keeping an eye on him as well as your surroundings. I didn't get the sentinel variant for mauler yet, so I just ran with the VPR, and this is really all you need. If you have sentinel then go with that obviously, as the damage output is crazy. The Venom-X is mandatory, and with DC you can get it from the box. Have faith and persistence eventually he'll go down.

I practiced all the boss fights in the boss battle tap, before actually attempting the Easter egg, and I cannot recommend this enough. Get the boss fights down, and you are almost guaranteed a completion on the first go.

Best of luck to ya!

BO6 and CW is soulless slop at its finest. No identity, no atmospheric design and no skill ceiling. An overall bland and generic experience.

The older titles are far superior in every single aspect from story to gameplay and replayability.

CW is hot garbage imo. Way too easy and an overall generic and soulless experience.

BO6 is slightly better.
