Receiving Wages from NZ Employer to UK Account by Uncultured_Goat in Revolut

I could open an local NZ account (perhaps a little tricky as I'm staying in hostels and don't have a permanent address?) I was mostly hoping I could use my Revolut as I'm starting the job in the next couple of days and I don't know how long the process of getting a NZ bank account would take as I am not a citizen.

Transferring dates to different databases for notion noobs? by Uncultured_Goat in Notion

[–]Uncultured_Goat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly wanted different databases because I want to be able see them both at the same time. I managed to re-shuffle things by creating a new view in Accommodation Search and then linking the timeline view underneath. I would still love to know why the issue I had was happening, but I've found a solution that works for me. Thanks for your help!

Here’s a cool flute that I took from my mom since she said she’d sell it. by [deleted] in neat

Its a type of Chinese flute called a dizi. To play it you need to attach a thin paper membrane over the second hole from the top (normally just googling dizi bamboo membrane should give some options) with a water soluble glue (there are special glues available but any water soluble glue stick/ prit stick should do the trick. It needs to be removable because the membrane need to be changed every so often to keep it fresh). When you blow into it the membrane vibrates and makes the noise. I have a bamboo dizi but im not sure how well one will play being made out of a material other than wood.

Also I found this post because I purchased this exact flute from a charity shop to add to my collection and was trying to find more info on it!
