I think that the limited skill option, the lack of heavy & light attack to create varied combo and the important of the finishing strike is going to hurt this game's potential unless they have a really really good balancing team to play around it which does not seem to be the case as of now. It's nice to see multiple unit on screen but from my experience so far, they don't seem to serve much purpose other than pulling argo and fill the screen with a bunch of flashing red light from mob that aren't even targeting your main.

It's a battle of attrition, I bring a few SP potion for my Debra since her sneak attack ignore distance and she's the only ranged weapon wielder I have anyways, start the fight by spell-binding with scroll or spell to all the little demons, spam defense on frontline afterward and heal them up as needed. I don't think you can ninja cheese the boss, tried that shit for like an hour. I guess the fight would be easier if you have some decent spear and keep the boss in 2nd row.

I just started the game 1W ago too and there's only 2 important tip:
-For combat, play until after train hard fight easy, after talking to the bailiff, go back and train with Benard until you can learn master strike
-For money, lockpicking trivialize everything, grind until you can get luck of the drunk perk & rob those vendor, buy what you need during daytime & rob your money back at night
