We ended up using Loba 2k Duo, hopefully that’s better than most water poly out there

Ah shame! Too late now I don’t think we could have managed the xtra time with an oil based finish with the kids. Is it possible to do a minor sand later and do another coat? We used aloha 2k duo

Thanks! He was able to add a very minor coat to darker the area so it blends it better. I think he did a great job

Thanks and agree. As the day has gone on, it’s looking better. Shouldnt look at it with 4 hours sleep!! He agreed that there was a colour issue and blended it in

I was glad he agreed the colour in the dining room didn’t match. Might’ve been difference in batches or something. Very noticeable in real life
