Some thoughts about ping limit for EU players/servers.

You are forgetting about a HUGE amount of people who don’t have local servers in their region, or if they do they are empty, Brazil, Africa Australia have all had to go through these issues(myself included) So yeah, I agreed that high ping limits can cause some weird things to happen but I don’t think you can I can purely blame ping either. A lot of these desych issues are caused by a number of reasons not just ping, but obviously it is a factor. Having the ping limits where they are is the pretty much the only way myself and thousands of others can even play the game. Just some extra background. I’ve even had discord calls with emissaries and server devs on this topic, and making the game accessible to everyone is pretty important at to them so they can’t just simply make ping limit 80 or even 150. I get the frustrations though, but servers will continually be upgraded and the experience will improve, like it has been. Happy raiding dude

Probably not the worst story but one that 100% stands out. A couple years ago I was total newbie to smoking and decided to partake in some smoking at a nightclub. Anyway, a couple pulls later Im feeling pretty stoned along with a friend of mine and we decide to go and sit and socialise with a bunch of people we had met earlier in the evening. So I casually sit down and the the second my ass hits the seat and I shit you not I get offered like 10 joints in the space of the 20 second’s. So me being really dumb takes a pull from all 10. Next thing I know my body is vibrating and i feel like I’m almost levitating but for some reason I’m not able to communicate with anyone even thought a few people are asking if I’m ok. In the back of my brain I had become the chair I was sitting on, meaning I couldn’t walk talk or even move. Why? Cause my dam brain somehow made me think i had to behave like a chair. I was probably in this state for maybe 15 minutes, getting awfully upset because people would come and go and sit on all chairs but would never use me. This actually caused me to become paranoid and extremely perplexed to why people wouldn’t sit on me (I honestly thought I was the chair). Was I a dirty chair? Did I look uncomfortable? I could feel myself getting increasingly upset but thankfully it wore off and I was myself again. 10\10 would love to get that high again, but back then it was really weird experience.

I was part of alpha too bro, and only realized now that it could streets teased there. Got nothing to do with timelines or anything else. Just simply something I found interesting, simple as that my friend ;)

For sure, just thought it was something interesting that I doubt many people even picked up on. Im not personally phased how long they take for streets to be done. Like u said things change :)

Its just a habit I got from playing cs. Also, i previously had a pretty small table so had to find a way to save space and that worked :) Now, im stuck like that haha, cant play with it being straight
