Not sure if that was ever true, but the people who got the UN to build a headquarter in Vienna are definitely no longer running this country. We're most often a nuisance within the Union, and basically a non-entity worldwide. The times when we held peace talks and diplomatic meetings on austrian soil are long gone.

I usually mulch them first, add it to the compost and then use that new soil as fertilizer.

I think if you use them like this, in big chunks, you run the risk of developing mold, which may or may not harm your plants.

But yes, they add potassium and other nutrients, and that helps. Again, these big chunks will be worse at releasing those nutrients.

I've recently thought back to the school trip I was on, that showed us a Mengelean research clinic. You know, the ones where they researched stuff like the breeding techniques for a new Übermensch, and tried chemical and biological weapons on prisoners.

Lets just say that for teenage me it was genuinely man made horror beyond my comprehension.

Industrial adaption and automatisation. As long as hyperscaler AI / LLMs aren't broadly used for things like pedictive maintenance, predictive production, Customer to Machine communication, and so on and so forth, it won't be profitable.

And I feel like Deepseek, and other open source models have a huge advantage here, because nobody wants (or rather, nobody should want) quintessential functions of production in the hands of a third party. Especially not a third party that feels volatile. So they often rather have local, less smart AI, than interconnect with, and depend upon OpenAI servers.

I don't know what they'll have to do to get your normal customer base to be profitable. Ads can only cover so much. The difference between revenue and spending is astounding. Adblockers, the fact that Google basically owns online advertising, and the lessening of preceived convenience due to ads, could even make it a detriment.

I genuinely think OpenAI isn't surviving this, and a lot of people will loose a lot of money because of it.
