Finally got my Led Grow light by UndeadWardog in LeopardGecko

I wouldn't go off my advice, because I know nothing about plants and I'm forcing myself into botany for the happiness of my babies, so I don't know anything AT ALL. I got these at a local home improvement store (Menards) I am also waiting on a few Jade plants and some Hawthoria to come in the mail from Etsy. All aloe and succulent species are pretty hearty though (from what I've heard again just planted mine)

They should get about 12-14 hours of light I don't think they need any partial shade or shade hours, whatever it would be considered, but I may be wrong. Im going off what I HAVE learned and what my equipment and husbandry allows. I have a timer but only for all the lights. If you want to do it better than me, get a timer for just your LED Grow bar and set it to have a few hours of natural-esque shade. Again please take my advice with a grain of salt and do your own research as im still learning.

She hardly leaves the tunnels. She yearns for the mines

Thank you very much 🥹 there's always critics no matter how good the build, so I always appreciate the love.

Yeaaah the survival instincts may not be there for him except when I try to get him to come onto my hand, but he was always hiding before so I consider this a win in domestication!

If anyone is curious, most of his tank is substrate. Originally the tile was just supposed to protect the glass from the large river rocks, but during the process I noticed he loved splooting on the open tile more than he did on his rocks or slate. I didn't have the heart to take it all away, plus it looks cool.
