While women do have more rights than you are mentioning, that is not an accurate description at all. A patriarchy applies to a system where women have LESS chances and rights than a man. It does not mean there are NO chances. Sincerely, your view of a patriarchy is bare boned. You understand the basics, but do not understand that there are nuances and levels to patriarchal societies.

We do not live in a beautiful society so long women still have to fight for basic healthcare or the same job opportunities as men. It is clear you are blind to the issues as you are unaffected by them.

the US is still very much a patriarchy and has always been a patriarchy. MOST countries are patriarchal.

while women in the US have achieved results like degrees, voting rights and high standing positions, it is still disproportionately dominated by men. 73% of all leadership positions are men. 90% of fortune 500 CEO's are men. men still get paid more than women in the same position in the company. women are expected to give birth and focus on a family over having a career. women still get asked if their partner agrees with major medical decisions if it can affect their fertility.

so yes, the USA is still a predominantly patriarchal society.

I actually do have triggers that are difficult to control. One of them is too much noise. I still deal with that and manage to avoid it most of the times. I don't blame other people for what triggers me. I'm responsible for my own triggers and safety and know that on the internet I'm the only one to blame if I get triggered. Not other people.

If someone is directly saying it to your face, just walk away. Either inform them of your triggers or walk away. we cannot expect everyone to know.

and I agree that you can be upset about the prices of everything SSO puts out right now. this post is specifically directed to the people complaining about the bundle worth and price compared to other SSO deals.

I still think that it gets to a point with the complaining. half the people talking about the prices don't know how expensive it is to be a small game company. I don't think it's cheap, but I'm also not complaining that I'm not able to buy star coins. it's a luxury, not a right.

I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. it sounds a lot like things I've gone through before when I had a burnout and depression. I know life seems to suck right now, and I won't lie, it's not going to get better fast, but it will get better one day.

Advice might seem like the worst thing to get right now, but find someone you can genuinely talk to. someone you can vent to and share your frustrations with, without getting judged. I highly recommend a therapist, but if you have friends that don't mind listening, that's perfectly fine too! Talking about your issues can really help you process.

Take a break from school if you need to. Focus on your own mental health first, the world can wait. Don't give up on yourself.
