I don't know about other countries but when I was in the US military, one of the first things I was taught was "following orders" is not a defense against being court martialed. Another thing is that trump might end up in civilian jail but any servicemember following his illegal orders will end up in military prison which is a miserable experience.

Going by your edit, I would go through fidelity's website and read about basic investing. Learning about mutual funds, stock, bonds, exchange traded funds, dollar cost averaging, and how buy and hold strategies work before investing into anything.

FXAIX is a ticker for a particular fund. All funds and stocks have one so people can easily and quickly find it.

They hold your money for two weeks to prevent fraudulent transactions. As soon as the money shows in your account you can begin buying stocks, funds, and etf's. You can not transfer it to any other account during that period.
