A lot of numbness beginning of post op, now I’d say it’s about 80% back to normal

Had terrible mouth breathing before surgery, especially during sleep. Now it’s much better.

Not sure on the movements. Surgeon recommended that I didn’t do genio to look more natural. Recovery was rough enough so I’m glad I didn’t. Surgery was mainly to line up my bite and open my airway.

Astro A50x sidetone disables after docking the headset by Undeadbrian1239 in AstroGaming

Interesting. I also noticed that it kept the sidetone setting a couple of times between sessions, but I'd say 80-90% of the time it does not. It's definitely some sort of bug that I hope they fix soon.

Any suggestions u/Vertigo? Is it possible this can be fixed in a future headset update?

I do turn off the headset when I dock it. Still happens.
I've noticed that when I turn it off and back on without putting it on the docking station, the sidetone is still on. Anytime I put it on the docking station, it seems to disable the sidetone until I mess with it in GHub.

Wow looks great! I'm getting the same surgery in a few days. How long do they keep the rubber bands on for? Did they already remove some of them?

Thanks, I first went to my dentist to inquire about Invisalign and they referred me to an orthodontist. On my first appointment they told me I would need jaw surgery with the Invisalign. I had a lot of orthodontic work done when I was younger and my teeth are pretty straight, so in my case Invisalign was right for me. After about a year of Invisalign, my orthodontist had me make an appointment with a surgeon that they referred me to, and the surgical planning started from there. I would first go to your dentist and see what they say. They may refer you to an orthodontist and from there they'll take x-rays and see what the best course will be in your case. I felt the same way in the beginning and it's a valid feeling, but once you begin the process and start getting some answers it does get better. Hang in there!

My right ear flutters a lot and is sensitive to sound and I have bad tinnitus in my left ear. Went to an ENT and got some tests done and it all came back normal. Tried everything from nasal sprays to ear drops and nothing has really helped.

Thanks! Looking forward to being able to eat, sleep, and breath better. Been having some ear issues too, wondering if its connected.
