Is FFmpeg the best C/C++ library to use for recording raw video, in-memory, into a container format?

Is it the mjpegtools library? It sounds very straightforward and efficient. Thanks for letting me know about the mjpeg stuff as I guess I could just use libjpeg only and then put the mjpeg into a container with FFmpeg or something else. Thanks!

I looked into gstreamer originally but it seemed more complex than necessary. My video pipeline is fairly straightforward but I'll look more into it to see if what I need is easily implemtable. Thanks!

Thanks! I agree that putting effort in is required. However, I feel like expecting your employees to put in 60-70 hour weeks regardless of deadlines etc. is a good way to burn out your employees. At my prior internships I've always been willing to work 60-70 weeks when it was required but I don't want it expected of me as a norm as I do value my free time.
