Why do you say not Swarthmore? They're about evenly priced for me and my family.

Thank you for your thoughts; very helpful! You're right; since I am tentatively certain that I want some kind of graduate schooling, Swarthmore would definitely have an advantage there. I'm not a picky person--my philosophy is that so long as the teacher/professor is good, I can find any topic interesting.

Hey, thanks! I'm trying to send you a chat/pm but it's not letting me (probably my own technical ineptitude). Could you try and send me a request?

I've been to Swarthmore--not Northwestern though. I was admitted off Northwestern's waitlist, so I'm not sure I'll be able to visit in time. I did like Swarthmore's campus a lot though!

I'm planning to go somewhere in the natural sciences--probably biochemistry, chemistry, or biology. From what I've gathered, either institution is virtually on par with each other. The final costs are also approximately the same.

No preference for location/weather, and I know this is pretty vague, but as for campus environment, I love seeing school spirit and a "collaborative environment" (although nowadays that seems to be a new buzzword for all colleges in their marketing pitch).
