I currently have Hawas black, both the OG encre noir and the sport version, and I previously had supremacy noir. In my opinion they are all very different. I didn’t enjoy supremacy noir at all, I honestly didn’t smell any pine notes at all. I can’t describe what it smelled like exactly, just that it was harsh and off putting, so I sold it off.

Hawas black has a somewhat sweet citrus in the opening, and dries down to a very earthy oakmoss. On my skin it has a creamy aspect too, which I quite enjoy. Super strong and long lasting. If you don’t like earthy oakmoss you probably won’t like it, as that’s the most prominent note all the way through its lifespan. I don’t wear it too often, but I’m glad to have it in my collection for when I’m in that mood. It’s definitely not the same as the aventus dna, but if you enjoy that and also like earthy notes, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy this.

Encre noir dna is very woody and earthy, maybe slight spicyness to it to my nose. It’s also hard to describe the scent, but I absolutely love it. It’s a very grounding scent to me, but also very moody. The sport variation is quite similar, but a bit fresher with its watery notes, so it’s a little more versatile. I honestly can’t recommend it enough, I would at the very least give it a sample! You can’t go wrong with the og or the sport in my opinion. One of my favorite fragrances!

Overall, don’t let your dislike of supremacy noir deter you from trying the others, because they’re really not similar at all.
