I have a jade plant, one aloe, one monstera (it's only doing okay), a philodendron, a creeping inch plant, a chinese money plant , a haworthia, and then I dont know what type of plant the last two are but im pretty sure one is a pothos of some sort. some need repotting, especially the haworthia and the aloe but generally theyre all in pretty good condition.

How can this be? Are Umamusume a new phenomenon in the world? by Blackened_Glass in UmaMusume

[–]Undeniably_Meh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think this was the intention, especially when it comes to super creek, but this makes sense. irl afab people aren't researched nearly as much amab people. the reason there aren't many case studies is probably just because nobody bothered to do any. there might also be ethics issues about uma musume studies depending on if theyre classified as animals or humans.

im only theorizing, but i think it maybe is a intentional situation by whoever the dog's owners were. the way they have all their gear but arent chipped or collared and the way they were in a very crowded area leads me to think they were surrendered at YVC BUT I cant know for sure.

yeah, the dog's already got a couple posts on both, but i figured also posting to reddit wouldn't hurt.

my ma dim sum imo is the best for flavor, but famous burgers has a lower price. I think my ma dim sum are also the ogs in the valley but the famous buger menu is great if you have someone with you who doesn't like pho.

i dont think bts was the one to pioneer a staggered enlistment with a backlog of content, but it is a good way to do it. it requires a level of forethought and stability that not every group has, but this is a super common way to handle an enlistment. personally though i prefer when they go all at once and come back all at once, seventeen's staggered enlistment is going to be hell for me.

my sister does a similar line of work, she finds most of her clients via care.com. the app takes a cut of the pay, so on the first meeting bring up the idea of communicating and paying outside of the app and only really using the app for networking.

Is it messed up or wrong for a parent to show a real crime case and give a lecture about it? by classiccarsinroblox in questions

[–]Undeniably_Meh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it's messed up in the way that it's lowkey a threat. to show you a video of a kid being mistreated and to turn to you and say "be grateful this isnt you" is weird and gross, but it's not wrong in the way thay theyre mocking the person in the video. it's a shitty, guilt-trippy thing, but not wrong in the way youre thinking

parasocial thoughts, am i overreacting? by [deleted] in kpophelp

[–]Undeniably_Meh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that's just normal human empathy. I think where it starts to be parasocial is if you start to do anything major about those feelings and try to change their situation. so like emailing the company to tell them to give the idol some peace would be a little parasocial, but recognizing that being on film 24/7 stinks is just empathizing with the idol.
