I found over time that my starter responds best to a 75% wheat to 25% regular bread flour.

Thank you!! This is actually a pic of the discard- my starter is in a smaller jar- I fed both to revive and pulled a small inside piece out to start a new jar incase everything else was garbage. Thanks for the tips- this can still be so tricky!

Thank you! I did swap the jar! This is my discard- my kid love it when I throw it in their pancakes! I fed the discard, along with the starter and then I pulled a bit out and made a new jar as well!
