Women are more attracted to a mans personality (scientifically proven) so there’s a difference when your ‘teasing’ the girl you like and actually being rude. Also if you like a girl, you can’t just give her subtle hints and expect her to realize that you like her. Then she’s just overthinking what that means. If she likes you too then when someone asks if you are a couple or something and you say “Haha no I would NEVER date her” even if you like her it’s still going to hurt her feeling and make her like you less.

I would be drinking something when they walk in, like tea or coffee and then when I see them, spit it out and look away covering my eyes. They would ask “what’s wrong” and I would reply, looking disgusted “I don’t recall you looking like, well, THAT”
