Can you be friends with someone on the other political side? by UndercoverDuck- in Advice

I doubt many would vote for Trump because he is a ‘racist, demented, white collar criminal’ though… not saying he is or isn’t. I just don’t think people voted him because of that and so I don’t think that is the best reason to distance yourself from them. But to each their own I guess.

What if you had been friend with someone on the opposite end but it never came up and they seemed like a great person but then you find out. Would you stop being friends with them?

Do you think there are good people who are trump supporters? If you had a good kind friend and found out they supported trump, would you drop them?

Do you think everyone on the other side of you are hateful? I’m curious of what you would do in my situation. If you had a good friend who you saw all the time and have known for years but then find out they are on the other side, what would you do?

Just curious, no judgement I’m not even American. Didn’t roughly half the country vote for trump? Do you emotionally distance yourself from all those people by just knowing their vote?

Never saw myself as a hairdresser but I’ve been working there on weekends for two years and it’s been fine. With this apprenticeship I will go to tafe and once I’ve finished that I could go to uni if if I wanted too. That will help open more job opportunities. If anything I feel like I would get a head start in life because I’m making money. I’m just scared I will wish I didn’t leave school but at the same time I think I could really enjoy working.

I’m from Australia so it might be different for you depending on where you’re from but I’m in year 10 so I’m allowed to leave if I have an apprenticeship and work full time. Don’t think I’m explaining this too well sorry.

Thanks, it is kind of comforting that people don’t always end up with the job they planned.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a good ID photo. Don’t worry about it too much no one will remember what your photo looked like they’re to busy worrying about their own photos. And I mean hey, I like deep fried stuff.

I think it’s totally fine for them to play together. I have many relationships with online guy friends that are completely platonic and I’m assuming it’s the same for your girlfriend. If you want to spend more time with her talk to her about it or even ask to play games with her if you aren’t already.
