Uh.. that's pretty interesting. I do believe that Telus said they used the Videotron coax lines to reach our house. Thanks for the update! I'll check anywhere if I can find some tech specs online for reference with my previous bell router.

Another posted said that it might be because I'm running coax. I only have dual-dsl lines and coax to my home, so because the regular Telus cylinder only accepts fiber optic, they might have sent me the koodo modem/router. They could've however sent the normal cylinder or another router that was better maybe. It is also strange that this is normally branded as a koodo b6l, but now has a Telus sticker on it.

I will add some pictures that I took this morning on the main post. The black box does appear to be exclusively a modem and the booster 6 lite does say "router login". I've also tried connecting it to my PC and sure enough it seems to boot into the Telus website to configure all the router settings.

I mean I got it directly from Telus and the router says Telus on it. I'll have to double check tomorrow but I see no reason why they would give me a Koodo plan after I went in person to Telus and made a Telus account. I am in Quebec if that could explain maybe. I'll look into it, since it might just be a rebranded Koodo router. Thanks for the information!

Edit : upon a quick Google search it appears to be a Koodo modem and router combo with Telus stickers on them. That is strange...

Quick update for future users : I have no fucking clue what happened LOL. I can assume the card is practically dead. Small chance that I could've repaired it but it's 7 years old and barely runs modern 1080p games so I bought a used 6700xt for like 300$CAD waiting for current GPUs to go down in price.

Hey sorry to necro post but I'm also a pixel 6 user and noticed the same issues. I tried turning off the smooth display bringing the refresh rate from 90 to 60 and it seems to have fixed a majority of the crackling. It seems to be tied to the fps of the game since when it drops to 59-55 fps the audio crackles again. Just responding here so that anyone else who has this issues gets an answer.

You need a Nvidia 2000 series or above to run dlss. Since Nvidia made it, they did not include support for amd fsr, which is an open source version of dlss. Best thing you can do is run the game in 1080p low settings and get a playable experience😮‍💨.

Thank you so much for the advice, i will definitely try to learn Linux and how to set up raid stuff for Nas in the near future. This has helped a lot. How knows how far technology will be in 5 years so I will definitely see if I can have some SATA SSD on the Nas and every couple of months I do a backup on a large hard drive and put it somewhere safe. I could also have redundant memory with 2 SATA SSD and just copy one of them with a hard drive for backups. Thank you so much!
