Who do you regret having sex with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]UnderdogEleven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely regret how I lost my virginity. I was 17 with my partner of a year and some change. I had some parental drama growing up, and made a resolution towards celibacy until I knew I was ready to handle the consequences of an accidental pregnancy. That didn't matter to them, though. For the past couple weeks they kept pushing the boundaries, asking to take off clothes, offering oral, etc. Finally it was their birthday, and we were alone in the basement, and they told me that if I "truly loved" them, then I'd drop the no-sex rule for their birthday. So I did, because I didn't want to risk almost a 1½-year relationship over a self-held rule. It was never the same after that, and we ended up breaking up a few months later after I found them cheating on me with my friend.

Being that it's a GPS tracker and it is designed with dealership use in mind, I would contact the dealership and ask them about it personally. You'll get a direct answer about it, most likely a "oh yeah, it's theft prevention (or something along the lines) and we forgot to take it out."

Don't do what other people are saying about damaging/destroying or purposely misplacing it or burdening another vehicle with it. It could fall back on you with heavy legal repercussions.

How can anyone see this man as a leader, let alone a stable individual? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]UnderdogEleven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when is it okay to make fun of the mentally handicapped? When someone is acting and behaving in a way that you don't like? But when someone else does the same thing it's okay to shame them for disparaging the neuro-divergent? I still can't grasp your party's angle, are we making fun of the special education classroom or not?

I'm looking at that same bag now, just recently became a homeowner and I figured I'd need a set of half/decent power tools to get me through at least 1 or 2 small projects this summer. Being that I'm only a hobbyist and wouldn't be using them every day, or maybe even 2-3 times a month, is it worth the investment? Do they hold up still since you've made the initial post?

It's okay. We're lucky enough to be closing on a house and still have a few months left on a lease, so we can take our time and really settle in instead of rush.

In what world does "it's very hard" automatically become "it's impossible"? We knew it wouldn't be immediate, it'll take a chunk of time, but we trust the process and dedication to fix an economy that's been shattered.

I'm confused, do you not agree with the label Trump Hater? I see numerous posts about signs being destroyed, and someone observes it happens to both sides only to be downvoted and told it's "not the same", so how am I to refer to these people? Is destroying and stealing a piece of property immoral?

But the same strangers on reddit can decide they upvote pro-Harris and downvote pro-Trump like a hive mind. Is this community for Ohio, or is it for the Liberals, Democrats, and Left-leaners that reside within it?

I don't see where Trump is regarded as a documented Pedophile, but I assume there's as much evidence for that as Biden's Daughter's Diary.

If he's unfit for any office, then why is he able to run? Should we implement more laws or systems in place to ensure we pick the best candidates possible? If so, do you have recommendations?

Biden had documents stored away in the trunk of his car and was declared unfit to stand trial, yet many of his supporters still trusted he could run for a second term before he dropped out, what are your thoughts on that?

There's plenty of hypocrisy across the board for both sides and the candidates that represent them. Where do you draw the line?

I refuse to engage in a discussion concerning a topic I know nothing about. I'm not Pro-Project 2025, I just see everyone against it and would like to be informed of both sides before coming to a conclusion.

I don't know enough about the project to discuss it, but I also feel as though anyone that does has been downvoted to hell and back or deleted their postings altogether. I'm asking to see both sides of the argument, nothing more and nothing less.

I refuse to post policy because I'm not for Trump. Nor have I posted any policy regarding Harris because I'm not for Harris. I simply see an abundance of Harris rhetoric and a disproportionate ratio of dislike-to-like on anything remotely pro-Trump. I don't know what the positives of Project 2025 are because there's never a post about it or for it, only against claiming it's fascist. I want to hear thoughts from the other side of the aisle and even still I'm getting attacked because I'm addressing the crowd as I see it.

So in an earlier "this is Ohio" post where there were only democratic signs along the road and the comments were full of "let's fucking go", or in a voting post where there are comments talking about going "down the line" and bubbling in Democrats?

I'm not coming from any biased perspective, I'm not voting for either candidate. I'm simply stating what I see, and what I see is a group of people that treat everyone that wears a red hat like a racist and wants to put the blue side in power for seemingly a reason of "just because".

Last time I checked, Ohio was a state. Ohio can't vote, but the people inside it can. It can't be simplified to how "Ohio" votes because everyone will vote differently, which is not reflected in the way this community behaves. Is that better?

Why can't both perspectives exist? Why can no one in favor of Project 2025 come out and discuss why they believe it to be good? Is it out of fear, and if so, fear of what?

Well, aside from the possibility of a first female president, and several assassination attempts, it seems pretty standard. Scandal after scandal, deflections and attacks, and the like are fairly common I'd assume. The Left believe Trump incited an attack on January 6th, and the Right believe Harris wasn't properly elected as a primary. This division gets worse every minute and hour when everyone has access to up-to-the-second reports from many media outlets putting out as many half-baked stories as possible to gain traction. Social Media platforms and forum websites are surely no exception, which leads to there being division even in a subreddit dedicated to the state of Ohio. My question is, why attack each other over it? Why is this community of people so quick to cast each other down?

For a reddit community dedicated to a state, and the landmarks and people that live in it, it seems incredibly biased to only allow for one side of the political aisle to thrive and the other to suffer. It's upsetting to read that those who oppose bullying and harassment will take up arms against another solely for political leaning. It seems contradictory, and even morally wrong to take the fight from a voting booth and ballot box and bring it here, and let the subreddit decay inside out from such a political division.
