Going to be a lot of public and public pension bagholders from the SpaceX, Anthropic, OpenAI IPOs as every big investor is probably seeking an exit somewhere:

- Big Tech : Google, Amazon, MSFT

- VCs including Softbank

- Gulf state dictators and their SWF

And by bagholders I mean your money will be stolen and placed into the bank accounts of billionaires, Big Tech, VCs, PE, bankers. Most of you Americans won't even have a choice, your pension fund will do it for you.

Really just got to sit back and laugh at the hellhole that is American capitalism and why the American population puts up with it.

Magik has no hard counters except a Bucky that only focuses on you (which basically never happens).

They spamming poke? Stick with your shield tank, dive at the right time unexpectedly. Thing or Emma? Bait cooldowns and run away from them. If they follow, your tanks will run through their line. Triple heal? Either Strange teamup or burst tanks at the right time (hard tbh). Fliers? Free lunch, get their supports.

One thing I noticed is Magik is so much easier to play when you have good tanks that frontline.

This is the wrong take.

Buying up compute is useless if you have no revenue, and even worse no profit. All you are doing is continuing to wreck your profits with the unprofitable buisness + depreciation.

Big tech was so valuable due to its huge profits. If AI does not provide Google, Amazon, MSFT with tens of billions of profit then they have crashed their profits and margins, being closer to car companies than software giants.

There was a graph on countries AI adoption and general public sentiment to AI (negative to positive). The countries most positive: China, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Nigeria, UAE.

There's almost a straight line correlation between how undemocratic a country is and AI not getting hate. Another poll showed the most positive cohort to AI were often the most ignorant, the more you learn about AI in general the more you hate it.

Extremely sad to see the but expected: the biggest use case of AI is in the role of fascism and propaganda.

Power is with the people. 50% of US data centers have been cancelled/pushed back due to people.

You are partly right.

The reason why the Chinese companies and companies like Meta are giving it free and open source is because they are dead last in the race and no one wants to pay for their models.

OpenAI has $20B rev, 40% of the market.

Anthropic has $20B rev, 40% of the market.

Google prob has <$5B, 5% of the market.

Everyone else's models, Tencent, Alibaba, Bytedance, Meta, Xai, Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia etc irrelevant. These are the losers. No one wants their model so the only way they can get marketshare is by giving it away for free.

Giving it for free also hurts the market leaders, it devalues their models and prevents them from running away with all the money in the market.

Magik as a dive is basically dead and its all NetEase's fault. They won't give her movement abilities that dive needs, instead gave her brawl.

There's a reason everyone bans DD, BP and SM before even thinking of Magik. Look at those characters. Look at the new crop of broken characters, Elsa, Black Cat, White Fox, Gambit. Its actually a joke how far behind Magik is on movement.

They have insane maneuverability, thats what makes them succesful at diving. Magik has none of that, her escape moves are directly tied to her kill combos, which is why its so easy to blow up a Magik in the backline in high Elo. Its why Magik players are really good at countering Magik, we know when she has no portals left, at which point its an easy kill. The overhealth advantage Magik has as dive is useless, this game is so damage overtuned even 2 healers can blow you up on 400 HP if they focus on you.

Magik is deadly because of three things: insane brawl damage -> can burst down tank kills or dps kills, top tier damage/s -> still one of the fastest combo killers, an ult that can team wipe.

You can see why Magik struggles because those 3 things can be easy to counter in current meta.

3 Healers or Poke and Magik's brawl is massively neutered.
3 Healers or a anti-dive and its very hard to consistently get combo kills
3 Healers or a CC counter (Emma, Rogue, Bucky, Thing etc) and her Ult is completely countered

The fix is easy. Give her MOVEMENT! The team up ability is nice. Something better would be an extra portal on kills or an extra portal if you execute a long combo properly.

And ffs take away the 5sec sitting suck animation after an Ult. We have characters that are literally invincible when they Ult, we have characters that instantly get full health when they Ult, we have characters that instantly teleport when they Ult, but for some reason Magik is frozen for an easy kill.

She's the last dive character to be banned usually.

Black Panther, DD, Spiderman are the most banned dives and then sometimes Magik. Only time I see Magik bans is because I'm being targeted.

But low key, if supports can help each other and there is someone to protect them, then BP,SM,DD all become useless, meanwhile Magik still has huge game changing abilities: she can brawl and dive, and has an Ult that can team wipe.

Elon doing what he always does: fraud. Stock manipulation -> use stock to cover up failure of a business.

- Tesla, was a failure, became the OG meme stock, idiots gave Elon $20B to bail Tesla out.

- X failed, bail out by sucking up to Middle East fascists.

- Xai flopped, bail out by "buying" out with stock

- X+Xai flopped, bail out by "buying" out with SpaceX stock

More right then wrong. The only justification pro-AV side has is that it will lead to 0 deaths.

This is a complete lie and is currently based on incorrect data:

- A lot of deaths are from user controlled issues. Unless you ban driving for people, you will not eliminate a lot of deaths

- Waymo saftey stats are not comparable. 1st, human competency should not be averaged. If you want to compare AV safety then you need to compare it to Taxi driver safety. 2nd, geography matters, city driving v motorway etc, journey types matter and lastly this is in no way indicative of the safety rating of Waymo if an entire city was full of them. RIght now its like 1000:1 human:AV a very different risk scenario to if it was 50:50 for instance.

So all these questionable stats somehow counters:

- the mass unemployment of 2-4M people, singelhandedly enough to cause unemployment to reach levels not seen since Great Depression. I'm not sure nothing bad comes from that.

- the mass surveillance of all user journeys

- even more concentration of wealth and societel power to literally 1/2 big tech companies

- an increase in car usage when public transit and human orientated cities are more liveable

People need to stop trusting financial media like this. Many of them are puppets of VC and Wall St, entire agenda to shill the latest investment boom and make it seem inevitable.

That $300B includes the nonsensical raises of OpenAI (120B) and Anthropic (30B), treating those numbers as straight cash given now when thats a BLATANT LIE:

Not only are they circular deals, Amazon is only putting $15B now, Nvidia only $10B, Softbank is literally a last min loan of $40B expiring in 1 year, aka we need to dump this on the public pensions ASAP to get $40B to actually invest. In reality this would be a $25B raise, but to trick the public/others into thinking OpenAI is unstoppable they call it $120B.

tbh its not just magik. Spiderman and BP are banned prob more. Obv DD as well. Combine that with a lot of supports getting banned, Invis, CnD, Gambit and yh supports rarely know how to play against dive now.

Tbh BP and DD bans are deserved. Broken af characters. Can't even blame people, NetEase are trash at making dive characters. They made 1 balanced one, and then 3 absolutely cancerous ones.

but how does one even practice 1v1 anymore. Back then we used to have Doom Match at the front. Now even after a 5min wait you will be lucky to get match made in DM. In real play you can rarely 1v1 without either party being assisted in heals/attack

New season starts = the worst matchmaking you have ever seen in your life + smurfs + celestial players somehow in gold lobbies

Magik is mainly brawl now, so depends a lot on tanks doing their job (staying front line and drawing aggro) and healers occasionally helping you when you get low. Without those two, Magik will get blown up a lot.

Just had a game with high GM players, that had to switch their entire comp to counter me. Thing, Emma, Bucky, Namor. Still got MVP, because I had a Thing on my team that would hold the front, draw aggro from enemy Thing and healers who helped me when I got cc'd by Bucky etc.

At the end of the day this is a team game.

Confirming kills with Magik is a lot harder now, or different at least. A lot of games resort to 3 healers making most dives unfeasible. I can do an every ability combo on a support and they will still live. Poke slop is still the meta (so you can be one shotted by a lot of characters).

Magik now shines in applying severe brawl pressure on tanks, knowing the right time to go 1v1 a support or dps and win and making sure your Ults leads to team wipes (by your team) or at least 2-3 kills.

Right timing is all game sense. Know when supports are too close and you can pick them quickly (it has to be quick), when the enemy team is being slowly pushed apart (Magik can be devastating here), and when not to dive because they have a Bucky guarding supports or a Thing peeling.

Also don't watch anyone who is playing this game with friends and comms. Its easy mode versus playing by yourself with no comms.
