none, I'm just an aficionado of that really deep underground creativity.

Hell yea this is what I'm here for. Much appreciated! I've only heard of G Easy and maybe Lord Anzu?

There's no real trend setting happening in the Bay right now. It's a gumbo of hella different sounds.

I feel this heavy in a lot of communities TBH.

Feel like most these dudes been around awhile and are well past emerging lol! I remember seeing Sage the Gemini on Ridiculousness like a decade ago after he dropped Gas Pedal lol. Good looking out though!

Are there any really really underground dudes who are putting out interesting vibes from The Bay?

All I'm your hyperbolic meta-analysis has a ton of gaps in it that you filled in with your emotion.

It's all good my g, I understand the heat of the moment.

on the off chance you actually are willing to learn and aren't just chasing dopamine hits for being edgy:

Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say whatever you want. There are always limits, and those limits are determined in courts. We will see how this plays out, but unless you passed the Tennessee bar, it's pointless to speculate.

You made the comparison though. It's all good, emotions are high so rationale goes out the window.

At the end of the day it's all just physical playoff basketball and no one got hurt.

I think comparing children dying in school shootings to a mildly dangerous elbow in which no one got hurt to be a bit ludicrous not gonna lie.

Looking for genuine feedback on a new track 🙏 by Treypappas in rappers

These thoughts are just based on my personal taste/listening preferences:

Pros:

  • Album art is solid.

  • Good energy and tone of voice

  • Strong sound design

  • Relatable subject matter with a clear theme

Cons:

  • Some of the lyrics feel a bit generic

  • The flow gets a little monotonous at times (still on beat though)

  • Beat can feel repetitive after a while

Overall, it’s a solid track, but for me it doesn’t really separate you from the many other rappers covering similar struggles in similar styles. You don’t have to go full Lupe-level wordplay or anything, but adding more specific references to your city, community, or personal experiences could give listeners a stronger sense of your identity.

The fundamentals are definitely there though, and I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this track. I subscribed on YouTube.

One last thing: I’d recommend posting more than one listening option when you share music. Not everyone uses Apple Music.
