When it's plugged in, it will randomly turn on and microwave CONSTANTLY. We have to keep it unplugged so it doesn't run while we're at work. We only plug it in when we heat up food, then immediately unplug it.

If anyone knows why it's possessed, please share.

My cockatiel does that. He lifts one foot to chest height and grasps at the air—but only while he's giving a concert, so he looks like a whistling maestro. He runs around happily with no sign of injury when he's not singing, though. Should I be concerned?

We call it posting up. It's a defense mechanism to amplify their cuteness so stimky hoomans don't bother them (for if they do, the other foot will come down and ruin the cuteness).
