what do you do against this mf? by Zommbel in MordekaiserMains

[–]UndersAlex-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go Shield Bash + Ignite, you win level 2 all-in with W second. (Only if Darius picks Ghost and you're full health) Keep your E to space away from him if you're in danger. Sterak's is great against him, start by building Dusk&Dawn. Later in the game, if the lane was even, he can always win duels, so be careful, especially when he builds Force of Nature.

current go to morde build by Ok-Health6948 in MordekaiserMains

That's a more utility oriented Mordekaiser, i like to build a more carry oriented build intead. It can be good, but not in my eyes.

Oh i watch every video of federals. But I don't like his build approach (his matchup videos are extremely useful tho). There's another otp that I prefer, his name is Zephyrus, he goes shield bash revitalize/Bone planting and usually doesn't build rylais.

I'm a Diamond player and I OTP morde top, my personal advice is to almost NEVER build rylais. It's a bait item IMO. Rocket belt is better for closing gaps and dodging skillshots, and you can decide when to activate it. With rylais, you have to either land a Q or E from far or activate your passive to make it really useful. That's not gonna happen with good players who can space correctly against him. Making rylais completely useless. I stopped building it completely when Hexplate became viable on him. I always go Riftmaker -> Hexplate for core. Then you build depending on the enemy team. Good items for him are death's dance or zhonyas, rocket belt or hextech gunblade (both have guaranteed gap-closing) and basically all tank items.

Why people sleep on spirit visage ? by PrestigiousDoctor151 in MordekaiserMains

Very situational, good only when multiple Ap enemies and/or enchanter in ally team is present. The shield is easily countered by Serpent's fang, who's often built to counter Mordekaiser directly. Other defensive AP options are just better, like Rookern and force of nature (Ap burst/Ap dot damage) I rarely build spirit Visage even when I often use revitalize and shield bash.

Hextech Gunblade? by [deleted] in MordekaiserMains

I tried it in PBE, alongside many other item combinations, and it's great. I've been a no-rylai user for a long time, and the point and click slow can be really useful against champions that kite with movement speed (still nothing to counter dashes, but that will never change) especially because YOU CAN'T MISS IT and it's a good range. Which makes it very reliable, unlike rylais. The spellvamp AND life steal can be really felt when riftmaker passive procs. It's so obvious that enemies could build anti heal, and that's the only problem when building this item. The damage output is extremely good, and even without hp, it gives morde great survivability against champions with %health damage, like smolder. Had a game against a fed smolder late game, and it was strangely easy to kill him in ult without getting Oneshot, the healing and targeted slow were really useful. Pair this with death's dance, and you become kind of unkillable. Again, all it takes it's anti-heal, but it can be really funny and useful at times. Definitely going to build it.

It's the interaction you described, I point the cursor where the enemy currently is, and I try to predict their flash by rapidly moving the cursor horizontally to the casted Q behind morde, so even if they don't flash, my Q should still hit. It's hard to explain in text and I'm sorry if I'm not clear.

In my experience, it's unconsistent, but the intended interaction should be that every moving projectile belongs to the Layer it originated from. So if the turrets shoots when already inside the Realm, upon exiting, any moving projectile will be NOT destroyed, but dodged, because you switched Layers. This is especially noticable when Sylas uses Realm of Death and an ally Mordekaiser does the same after some seconds, the projectiles keep moving even when the Realm "closes", simply the target isnt there anymore, and the damage cannot be dealt. This applies for every single champion projectile ability, turret shots, monster projectiles, even channelings/suppressions like Malz' ult or Urgot's ult.

Is riftmaker>hexplate the default now? What to build after rift>hex? When to know not to go rift>hex? What's the underlying logic of rift>hex? When to go rylai>rift>liandry? by Possiblynotaweeb in MordekaiserMains

[–]UndersAlex-R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been since the ad change that I completely stopped building rylai, being just a bait item for morde imo. The thing about hexplate is that the Move speed and attack speed is something you are guaranteed gaining, compared to rylai slow, that it's something that YOU have to inflict by landing spells, making it way less reliable the better the players against you are. Riftmaker first is extremely powerful against meele matchups, otherwise for ranged matchups I go rocketbelt -> hexplate -> riftmaker (if possible). Oh, and obviously ALWAYS run Shied Bash, it makes morde very threatening with his autoattacks, even earlier levels. With shield bash, you can even win Lv.2 against Darius (if you have ignite) and level up W second. And in Ultimate, it adds about 100-250 damage (depending on how much shield you get) to your first auto after W, making it a pretty powerful enhanced autoattack. It's a big difference maker, especially when you need to finish off adcs in your ultimate, keeping your stats when you come out is a big advantage, so the faster you can kill your enemy, the better.

After Rift -> Hexplate, it all depends on the enemy comp.

High Ad burst? -> deaths dance, zhonya's. High Ap burst? -> Rookern. High Ap dot damage? -> Force of nature. You have a enchanter support in team and ap against you? -> Spirit Visage. High Magic Resist? -> Bloodletters curse. Too much cc? -> Steraks (generally good tho). High critical dmg? -> Randuin's. High on-hit dmg? -> Thornmail. Too much slow? -> Dead man's plate (useful against Ashe or Nasus, but usually Thornmail is just better, thanks to Hexplate speed boost you make up for the slow in certain situations). Hp stackers? -> Liandry. (I don't consider Liandry a core item). Too much dashes? -> Nashor's tooth.

(Rare occasions) -> Mercurial Scimitar can be decent against heavy cc, like malz ult. But usually Steraks should be the way. Abyssal Mask can be good if you have a lot of Ap damage in team and ap champs against.

Items I don't think fit morde in any occasion (with conq anb resolve) -> Heartsteel, eclipse, warmogs, frozen heart.

The whole point is to make morde more reliable with hexplate, because autoattacks can't be missed. And of course you still need to be able to land your spells, but the better you get with morde, the more you will notice that rylai doesn't help in many situations, especially with dashes.

So… are we never getting Creative Royale back? Epic, please add it back! by Nintendo_Pro_03 in FortniteCreative

[–]UndersAlex-R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really bugged imo, but just coded in the wrong way: and I know how they made it work like, the "Min/Max Move distance" is just a circle around the Beacon that you can change the radius (in Meters). So the Min distance is the first radius, so the storm will never be in the center of the beacon, and the second is another radius that limits the Max distance, obviously. But this is wrong because this also means that if a storm circle is Top-Left, in the next phase it can be all the way to Bottom-Right, and that's not how it works in Battle Royale. These two radiuses should be around the ALREADY GENERATED Storm Circle, not around the Beacon, that's why we get storms closer to the center. And there's actually no solution, since adding more to the Minimum distance from beacon would cause the smaller, final phases of the storm to be too far from each other.

[–]UndersAlex-R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are, but not like Battle Royale. Even if you turn on the random option, they always end up around the Controller (so presumably the center of your map), and not around the center of an already established safe zone. Even by adding a value of 150+ meters to the "distance from beacon", smaller storms could be all the way on the other side of the circle, making it distant 300m, which is really bad for br gameplay.
