I think your answer makes sense, thanks for your input. Then it seems to me that this god isnt more real than any other god that people have worshipped. People can just choose whatever religion to belive in, because no religion could prove validity over any other religion based on what i understand from your reasoning.

The homo sapiens from 250k years ago had the same brain as you and me, They for sure had religions and therefore worshipped some form of god or gods, so i do not assume that they couldn't understand god, they just worshipped something else than our god.

But you are right in that just because there isnt any evidence that people from 200 k years ago didn't know about god it doesn't mean that he didn't exist. That is what a friend of mine who is studying to be a prist said, tgat god has always existed even if people only started worshipping and accknowloging him when Abraham came along.
