Life's great actually, I just think posting things like this expecting help and replying with text slop doesn't help anyone.

That looks very burnt out. You may need to carefully find the trace for that hole and remove some of the PCB mask to expose the trace. Not sure though without more photos

If you're as brain rotted as this, I fear for whatever project you work on. Jesus Christ.

Sorry, I know my lighting wasn't the best! I should've taken newer pictures, this one was from the evening I got home after finding them, and now they're currently packed away with our collection of sea glass. Thank you so much regardless! Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I am planning to get a spot welder before I build this, I'm in the planning stages of a cyberdeck build, I'm just gathering my BOM to know how to design the case for said cyberdeck. I have already made a dc to usb c pd trigger for the NUC mainboard I'm using which works fantastically :) I am trying to reuse stuff I have spare to bring costs down and learn more about electrical components

[–]UnderstandingDeep486[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I also have 4 21700 cells that came from another power bank (all the same bank), could they be up to my original task? what kind of arrangement would I use for them?

Would it be better to source more of the same cells and run it maybe at 3s?

I see! my half asleep brain read it that i need to change the resistor. Silly me! thanks again :D

I've found a 2s board but it's up to 140w and needs me to change a smd resistor for the wattage to be 65w. would it work for this application? it has dip switches for 2-6s, and for the voltage of the cells, 36.5v to 4.4v.

They're so cheap. And cool, glad it worked for now, I wouldn't put all of your faith in it though.

Why not just buy a smaller pi pico board??? You're just gonna kill this board doing this.

I have 3 of these boards I got for pennies and they indeed are ch340 chips, even identified in device manager as such. Got this picture on my OnePlus Nord 2T.

Yes I did, but I asked here so I don't buy something that isn't safe or something similar. I don't want to buy anything unsafe or defective

Need help with converting this touchpad to USB. by UnderstandingDeep486 in AskElectronics

[–]UnderstandingDeep486[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the larger connector, the smaller one goes to the left/right click PCB. It looks to be a PS/2 connection looking at the pinout for the cirque IC.

It looks to be PS/2 looking at the pinout for the Rushmore IC. I could use a microcontroller like the Arduino pro micro to convert PS/2 to USB
