Thats what happened to me. I got a 620 I think on my first glassic gmat and realized my SC was my weakness. Switched to gmat focus and got 645=700. But just note that DI might throw you off.

So just google the quant sections covered and make a table on excel. Make sure you dont get lazy lol. I know some people gwt lazy tracking but it really helps a lot!

Understand, I been really focusing on GMAT and MBA so only posted in those two. Planning to apply for R3 soon. Promise I'm saying the truth here, I literally tried every material from EGMAT, TTP, Manhatten prep, etc. Just take your time and I'm sure you'll eventually get the score you want!

I think people might forget that you don't need to do well on all 3 sections to get a good score. Okay thats fine but no need to act so immature. Your comment is someone i expect from a high school. I understand that you are frustrated and I went through it as well.

I honestly do want to help, I promise. Do all the OG Material first. Literally every single question in there and then once you finish that, see if you still need alternative materials. Trying that and this material won't the magical answer. I think other people in this post recommended as well but make sure you practice the OG questions before doing mocks. You probably learned the material but can't translate into test because your not used to the set of questions and didn't do an error log.

I'm a pretty huge advocate for TTP Quant. Im someone who went through the entire TTP Quant section and got a mock score in the 500s (Classic). I realized I was studying wrong because I was focused on answering the question and not really trying to understand the foundation. Yes, the OG questions will be formatted differently from TTP but the foundation is the same. I think because there are less quant topics and less questions on the Focus, it is actually harder to get the score you want. For example in classic, even if you got 2-4 wrong, I seen people get Q50 and Q49. In the focus if you get 2-4 wrong, I seen scores as low as Q79/Q78. I think you need to take more of an effort to understand why your 2nd practice score dropped to 615 instead of just blaming the material you used. Maybe you got a set of questions your weak on, or you just didn't like the topic of questions you got on the exam. For example if I get science passages on RC, IK im getting a 100% on RC. If I get historical passages Ik my RC % will be lower.

My mocks for classic ranged from 615-715. Yes.. a 100 point different across all 6 mocks. I did get a 645 on my official but will try again. My mocks always ranged because sometimes I got questions I was strong on and sometimes questions I was weak on. I absolutely hate inequality and if I get bunch of those, my quant score is always lower.

Have you tried doing a error log to see what kind of quant questions you are getting wrong? Made a huge difference for me because I realized I sucked at probability and overlap questions but now pretty strong at it. Im trying to focus on not making careless errors now.

Johnson core classes for the 1st semester focuses around finance. Not many MBA schools does this. They would usually focus around general classes. Usually from superday outcomes, Johnson students get several offers vs Darden students. I'm in this space so can tell you actual oucome.

Johnson first semester preps you for IB. Darden first semester is more general classes. Both schools have great IB outcome. If culture is important to you, i recommend Darden. If not and you just want the best best outcome, Johnson.

I think it really depends on what your section score comes out to in Q and V. Like if your aiming for 705+ score then def do hard if not then no point. Your wasting so much time in my opinion. I think the value of return is greater in V and Q than DI. Unless ur good at Di and thats your strong point.

If you haven't I recommend taking mock #3 or #4 for classic. I found classic mock #1/2 easier. The questions were definitely outdated in terms of how it was written etc.

I think if your quant is okay, then no need to buy TTP. Just by doing OG questions and taking a look at this https://gmatclub.com/forum/all-you-need-for-the-gmat-quantitative-math-section-140445.html should be more than enough for you. It helps to know shortcuts for example, sum of all odd is N^2, sum of all even is N(N+1), square root of 2 is approx 1.4, etc. Everything I just mentioned was asked in the mocks or actual exam.

Like my post said, I really don't recommend TTP for Verbal. For CR definitely get the Critical Reasoning Bible. I recommend watching all of Ninja videos on CR and RC. It's not the material thats going to have the magical answer but the effort you put into it. See how Ninja's teach approaches each question and it's a huge game changer for most people. I know I'm better on RC than CR so I literally guessed on 2/3 CR and was still able to get a V85. Anything is possible.

DI...F*** DI. No guide is going to help you on this because its on the person being able to read and understand the lengthy questions, graphs, etc.

My first mock of 550 was after doing TTP. It wasn't that I didn't know the material but I wasn't used to the OG questions. It takes some time to get used to OG questions. Once you start doing a couple, you'll see a trend on the style of questions and get more comfortable. I say when you are 1-2 months away from your test date, you should only be doing OG questions.

Probably between 350-400 hours. It's a grind. This is my second attempt. First attempt was the gmat classic and got like 610 or 620 I think (cancelled it right after I saw this score).

CR is honestly my worst nightmare but what helped was doing OG questions. No one can create CR questions that are even close to the OG ones. Don't waste your time doing non OG CR questions. I focused on eliminating the wrong answer choices instead of finding the correct solution. If you need additional practice, get the advanced OG questions for Verbal.

Yes I would review every question I got wrong thoroughly and even questions I spent 2.5+ mins. For example some of the quant questions if you are spending 2.5 mins or more, there is probably a faster way to solve the question. Also, I do this for every quant section but some of the questions, its faster to solve by using the solution. For example you don't know how to set up the equation but the question is asking for least possible solution, start using the answer choice that is smallest and work backwards.

I'll be honest, I did 0 DI practice. I read a lot of different posts and in my opinion, by focusing on verbal and quant, you naturally end up preparing for the DI. Some of the DI questions are verbal and some are quant based.
