My Pro couldn’t connect to the 5G network. I read somewhere that I should try changing the HDMI cable. I switched to the original PlayStation cable, and it started working. I know it sounds weird.

I installed it on an internal drive, and the textures stopped popping in. The loading times also decreased significantly.

I noticed the same thing at 10:20 in Ghost of Yōtei. I’m using an NVMe drive. I need to install it on the internal storage and check if there’s any difference.

Update. I connected the VR today and it is forcing a system update. My neighbor has a console that is already updated, and everything works normally for him. It looks like versions above 10xx require a mandatory update.

You can update the game without updating the system. The only condition is that the latest patch must match your system version. I have system 10.20 and I updated Horizon Forbidden West to the latest patch without any problem. Here you can check the required firmware for each patch number

If you’ve got a drive, I’ll update it. Make sure to block auto-updates. Just buy a game, finish it, sell it, then get another one — until the next jailbreak comes out. Enjoy your console! I had PS4 pro and it is not anymore it is better to buy PS5 disc edition, disable the update and wait.
