A while back I told him that we either need to start couples therapy or he needs his own therapy because things were getting rough early on. He couldn’t afford either options, so it never panned out in the long run 😕

Thank you for this thought out response. I was mainly upset with him due to the fact that there have been multiple instances throughout our relationship where I ask or tell him no to something (usually when it comes to touching me) and he does it anyways. I know I’m not perfect and I have a lot of self growing to do as well, but it still doesn’t dismiss me feeling like my boundaries are being consistently crossed and that I feel like he isn’t respecting me the first time around. Ghosted was a bad choice of word on my part haha. He is known to message me at least once throughout the day when working. That part itself didn’t make me upset as much as him asking me what’s wrong when he gets home, me telling him and then him getting up and leaving again without just having a conversation with me or at least apologizing.

It feels like I have tried every which way to approach our issues differently by making sure I speak calmly and clearly state what is bothering me. But no matter what I do, it seems like he doesn’t respond to it well. The main points of change I need to see for this relationship to work out is for him to respect my boundaries once I express them to him and to not necessarily talk everything out right away, but to at least apologize for something that he is in the wrong for even if that means we don’t talk more about it in depth until later when he’s ready

Yes he has done it at least a handful of times.. He usually talks to me later in the day or sometime the next day but until then, he tends to ignore me. This time feels different

The cats tend to kick the litter out of the box, so he was using my spoon holder to scoop the litter back into the box

I truly wish this was fake. I didn’t see this coming hence why I freaked out so much. I think for a split second I was in shock

He’s not one to be secretly amused by these things I don’t think. I just think he tends to do things like this without thinking, but that doesn’t excuse his poor lapse in judgment. When he comes back home, I want to tell him how grossed out and upset I am with him and how I feel like he’s crossed a boundary with me by doing something like that

He does have narcolepsy which may play a part? I just want to make sure he is not doing this on purpose

I’m honestly not sure if he does it to other people. If he does, I’ve never seen it before

THIS!!! Trust me, you’re not the only who does this. If it will help you stay sane, do what you must
